We stayed at Plaza de Armas hostel for three nights when we arrived to Santiago. We arrived at 7am and they let us sleep on the couch until check in at 2. The hostel is very clean and updated, the showers are hot, and the kitchen is nice. The view is great too. Breakfast is the typical South American bread...

We only stayed here for one night. As we had an early flight next morning and arrived lateish, we weren't fussy about the room and booked a cheap double twin room without a window. We were pleasantly surprised that the double window was made out of glass which made the room lighter than anticipated. We could also organise our airport...

My experience at Plaza de Armas Hostel was very good. Located on the city center, it's a perfect place to visit Santiago. The room was perfectly clean and opened on to a big terrace. The breakfast was good : coffee, toasted bread, jam, etc. I recommend this hostel without hesitation!

We had private wifi in our room so it was fast. The receptionist and commons area had a chill vibe with plenty of open space, natural...

Plaza de armas hostel is nicely located on one of the most recognizable places in all of Santiago. Overlooking the Plaza itself, this hostel on the 6th floor boasts impressive features and surprisingly low prices for such a central location. Strongly recommend it!

The location is fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the view of the plaza was marvelous. Their beds are very comfortable and I slept soundly and deeply. I never once felt uncomfortable with my belongings (but bring a lock for their lockers). I loved the charm of the building and the elevators are a fun ride every time....

The location is absolutely fabulous. Our room had a balcony overlooking the plaza, great place to start your day. Staff is friendly, kitchen is properly equipped and a lot of info is provided for the various tours in and around the city. A certain added value to your stay in Santiago!

The place was on the 6 th floor of a very old building. The wooden lift can only fit 2 people with bags but still the conductor packs them in! The building is noisy with cats in the hallway and does not feel safe. There are cats in the reception area also and cat hair on all the chairs. Our...
