I spent two weeks at la Casa Roja and it was a lot of fun! It was better than I expected. The staff is very nice, helpful (they offer also daily tours where you meet a lot of new people) and if you treat them friendly they make you feel like your part of the big family. Even in the...

I had an amazing two weeks here, and want to return soon. Great staff, food, reasonable price, and clean facilities. It is so fun here, that you will not want to leave, especially when it is hot and you are in the pool : )

Myself & a friend, 2 female backpackers originally booked into La Casa Roja for two night's. We then decided to extend our stay in Santiago another 5 night's as we really loved it here. The pool was the big deciding factor but the hostel itself was fab. Big clean kitchen, big room's, great atmosphere & the staff were just brilliant...

I do not recommend this hostel. The staff are not helpful or friendly and they seem to be massively understaffed, to be the point that people were waiting in reception for up to 20mins. The beds are not comfortable and you have to make your own bed as well as strip it. The bathrooms did not feel clean and the...

The building is beautiful, the facilities are clean and the location is good-but the staff are a nightmare. The screaming from the partying blended in to the screaming from what you'd think was the most over worked woman in chile. I may have overlooked the noise from the partying (it's a hostel after all) but the kitchen nanny who seemed...

Hi Lol, I'm sorry what happened to you, the cook was going through very bad days and she is a human people like everyone. Breakfast was not included and we only do it now for better. I hope you can come again. We give you 3 free nights to be able to compensate for this bad stay. Best regards

The staff at this hostel are the least respectful, least competent group of uninspired people I've come across so far. The kitchen staff, notably the main woman in charge, storm around complaining. BAD

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of our trip before returning to the UK. Location isnt all to great as its not in the buzzing area of santiago but plenty of places to eat around the local area. Let me begin by saying that this hostel is HUGE. In fact I think its by far the...

Casa Roja is really clean, bathrooms are always spotless, the WiFi was good enough to torrent from which was great as I spent a few weeks here so had a couple chill days. The kitchen is EXCELLENT. Very spacious, 2 stove tops and an oven. There're also plastic boxes to store your food in. Staff here were so lovely, from...

I slept one night in the hostel and then continue my trip. When I return I asked him that my friend who was supposed to land after 30 hours of flying will pay at the morning. The man in the recipient was annoying, not nice and scream about me. He didn't offer me nothing and was really insulting so I...
