This little guesthouse is located in a charming neighborhood. A little bit far from the subway station (15min walk) but close to a lot of very good restaurants. I really like the atmosphere. The personal is very friendly and helpful. My room was large, very conformable and cheap. My only concern was the security. The housekeeping left the windows opened... More

This hostel is located in a quiet street in the Providencia district, near consulates and a medical precinct. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with high ceilings and a feeling of spaciousness. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed sitting out in the leafy garden courtyard. The hostel is a bit further away from restaurants and nightlife than... More

Super friendly owners/staff! Not much english spoken and due to it's location in a very residential area quite a walk away from the metro and the touristy main street. There are some restaurants and shops as well as a bus station nearby. But if you don't mind it's great: spotless clean, nice kitchen, common area and welcoming courtyard.

Truly a B+B feel. It's a beautiful older home in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is super warm and friendly. We were able to store food in the fridge and use the kitchen. The staff was wonderful to our baby and our dog, and we enjoyed cups of coffee with them, and even some wine at night! It felt like... More

Only stayed for about 10hrs overnight between flights. Arrived late and was met by a nice guy who spoke English. Comfy beds and nice rooms. But went to check out and no-one except the maid was around who spoke 0 English (but was lovely) and couldn't work card machine for payment or direct me to a cash machine. Also could... More

First off, I hate to give this hostel an average rating because I liked the staff so much. They aren't average at all. Everyone we met there was welcoming and approachable. This hostel/hotel does a lot of things right. But for the price, we expected something more. We usually stay at lower-priced hostels, but we wanted a place that was... More

We stayed three times at hostal romandia during our 6 week holiday in chile. By the end of our holiday we felt like it was our home away from home. What stood out was the friendliness of the staff, as well as the pleasant atmosphere and very clean and spacious rooms. The courtyard was great for our little boy to... More

As the room rate suggests, this is more of a guest house than a hostal, located in an up-market, residential, safe part of town. The house itself is lovely with just a handful of guest rooms and ample kitchen and bathroom facilities for the number of guests. There is a very nice garden area at the back of the house... More
