there are some good points to this hostel its very well located, breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. i would not call it boutique as its needs a freshen up and isnt that clean, it does have some old character. i did not get much sleep on the first night and the second was better but i kept...

Lovely building, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is fine, the wifi works, (but not in all of the rooms), great location with a lovely terrace. There's not a lot more to say, apart from if you are allergic to cats then this isn't the place for you as the hostel cats roam about the common areas, leaving fur all over...

I only stayed one night and had a great time. To be fair, I was lucky as I had a 6 bedroom to myself. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was better than in any other hostel I've been so far. Also the receptionist was very helpful and the wifi worked well. The interior design was very nice...

Casaltura was a great place to stay in Santiago for friends, couples and families of all ages. The building had plenty of character, the roof terrace is a great suntrap and had plenty of seating, there is also a lounge as well as sofas in the reception. The staff were helpful with the reception open 24/7. The included breakfast was...

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our Chile trip and our room, if a little noisy being on the main road side of the hostel, was the nicest and cleanest of almost any we stayed in, with a squeaky clean private bathroom. Huge wooden king size bed, crisp white sheets and grand high ceilings. The geranium...

Lovely rooms and a really nice rooftop with a great view. Only bad thing would be the wifi - it was terrible!!!! Staff were very friendly and breakfast was standard. Overall it was a nice stay in a decent location for a reasonable price.

Very nice hostel, big common areas, rooftop is gorgeous and a nice place to relax, breakfast is varied and plentiful. Sttaf in general are helpful and knowledgeable. Everything, including bathrooms, was very clean at all times. There's not much of a vibe, so it may be hard to make friends, if that's what you're looking for. VERY centrally located, which...

A very nice historic Hostel, with most precious wood works in the inside, a grandious wooden Stairway that goes up to the third floor where the reception awaits you in a warm foyer with antique furniture. No elevator, no air conditioning in the rooms. It has a beautiful roof deck, nice to drink a glass of wine and chat with...

Beautiful old woodwork with high ceiling rooms that remain mostly quiet. There is a nice veranda on the roof to take your wine, cheese and grapes to socialize in the evening. There is no air conditioning but the fans seem to do the job. Valentina, Great-granddaughter of the original owner who had 15 children, provides. good breakfast for all. It...

This building was built around 100+ years ago so it has lots of character. You must climb up a spiral staircase ( maybe 20 steps) to get to the lobby area. Everywhere you go it up or down the spiral stair case. There are several common areas with great windows that look out to the city and full of comfy...
