The view was great, and the restaurant was great too. It has a very nice happy hour. The hotel staff was exceptional and helped us get great reservations at some of the best restaurants at the last minute-borago and astrid y gaston.

Having a night to "kill" in Santiago I booked the Sheraton as I used to stay there 40 years ago when I was cabin crew for British Caledonian Airways. The city had changed enormously but the views from the hotel were as spectacular as ever. To our surprise and for no discernible reason we were upgraded to the Tower and...

Dear Frances, We couldn't be happier to read that you came back to Sheraton Santiago after 40 years. We've been here in Chile for 46 years and yes it is like you say. This city has change but we still keep this magnificent views of the city and the Andes Mountains, imagine how it is during winter season with all...

This nice hotel is in Providencia a nice neighborhood in Santiago. It's about a 15 minute walk to the metro and another few stops into the main part of town, so it's conveniently located. They provide free drinks and snacks during happy hour and many of their services are provided by the adjacent Sheraton hotel.. The rooms are spaceous and...

I generally prefer smaller, funky hotels, but I was staying on points and this was an incredible deal for the nights we needed. The hotel was a beautiful upscale hotel, with a very comfortable room, bed, furnishings, etc. Not a whole lot of local character, but that sometimes seems to be the point of places like this. It was nicely...

My first time staying at the San Cristobal Tower was a good experience. PROS: It’s modern and clean with charming and attentive staff. Good (not too far) walking distance from shops, cafes, restaurants. Amazing views from the 21st floor restaurant / bar. CONS: Takes ages to stabilise the shower temperature. With 2 hotel entrances organised taxis get confused which to...

I had a generous and quiet room and enjoyed the breakfast in the lounge on the 21st floor with great view. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit out of the center, so you usually need a taxi, footpaths are only limited.

San Cristobal Tower hotel at first look is expensive at over $225 (prepaid), however it is worth every penny. Official taxi ride from the airport (SCL) to the hotel is about $35. It is very adviseable to use the official taxi (ignore the numerous hand held signs for taxi and go to the official taxi counter). This hotel tower is...

We arrived and there was no one to check us in. We were tired and hungry and waited for 15 minutes to someone to show up. The front desk guy appeared and check in was slow and not the type of service I expected from luxury collection hotel. The guy who attended us was COLD and not very welcoming. Overall...
