We arrived on the 14th February and after reading many reviews I was anxious. Reception staff were helpful and we were given our room which was in the back of the hotel so was quiet, however the air con did not work and the temp. Was 29c in the room. Eventually maintenance man came and resolved the problem. So far...

A couple of enjoyable days at the Galerias. Right in the centre of town with access to all historical buildings, restaurants and some of the best street performances I have seen. Although the building is old it has retained the looks of the old era. The room was spacious, the furnishings ok and the bed quite comfortable. The buffet breakfast...

Room was on 11th floor street side. A little noisy from traffic, but didn't keep us awake. Restauraunt food is good. Free buffet breakfast was nicer than just continental. Room was so-so, needs updating.

No aircon in the rooms. You can Rent a Fan. No charge. You can rent a Fridge, they stook it with drinks. Which they charge 600 pesos a bottle. 1.20 aud. You can get your laundry done. 20.000 pesos about 40 aud. Which is a Rip off. But as i was off to Patagonia the next day. Not much choice....

It is not a luxurious place and it is not located in the new sophisticated neighborhoods of Santiago but it is very central. Don't expect too much service nor help from the staff, they just don't care about you. The breakfast is good and the rooms are quiet and well furbished.

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from subway station Santa Lucia. The room was comfortable and looks just like the picture. I wish it had a clock. I had the same issue as another reviewer with a/c. Every day I would report it as I headed out to tour. Everyday they would ask, "Is it OK if we...

Nice hotel in central downtown location, just off O'Higgins, and near subway station. Buffet breakfast is good and the main restaurant is very good, although not cheap. The rooms are clean and a safe is provided. I also liked the tissue box in the bathroom, which not all hotels on our tour provided. The lobby staff (concierge & porters) is...

Normal city hotel......nothing outstanding. Unable open windows, so had to put up with a/c all night.....couldn't adjust the a/c either. Does have an outstanding lunch restaurant though. Would be helpful to have a staff member on the front counter who could understand a little English.

Hotel is well located for sight seeing around Santiago. The rooms are clean but a bit shabby. The restaurant on 6th floor is nice and the food was good. The buffet breakfasts were of high quality with plenty of choice.

We stayed in this hotel for three days with a large group while we toured wineries in the region. The lobby area looks plain and bare but the rooms are clean, large enough to "settle" in for a few days and stocked. The 6th floor with the breatfast room, restaurant and a large gathering room were perfect for our group...
