Andes Hostel was recommended to me by another traveller and he raved so much about it that I booked it without even reading the reviews. The hostel is located right next to a subway station and 5-10 mins walk from the central Plaza de Armas square, and again 5 mins walk from the Cerro Santa Lucia park and loads of...

We stayed in a private double room with ensuite in the hostel building itself. The room was pretty basic - only net curtains meant it didn't get properly dark - but serviceable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being on the floor directly above the hostel's reception/bar area did mean it stayed quite noisy quite late into the...

We were basically only in Santiago for less than 24 hours so we wanted a hostel that was affordable, clean, and in a good location. We hit the jackpot here. I was so pleasantly surprised when we got to our room, it was nicely styled and the bathroom was something i would expect in a really trendy hotel. The hotel...

Two of my friends and I stayed here in early Feb 2012 for 3 days - we booked a private 3 person suite and had no idea we were going to be staying in a luxurious apartment with all amendments. Although I'm not the kind of guy to stay in the hotel much, this place rocked - pool, fridge, balcony...

Just stayed here in Jan/Feb 2012. Awesome hostel staff. If you get a private suit at the apartment building amazing place for a great price. Private room with balcony if lucky views of the Andes surrounding Santiago. Also right in the middle of the city walking distance to some of the major historic attractions.

My husband, 3-yr-old daughter, and I stayed in an Andes apartment in Oct. 2011. It was amazing! The location, secure building, and apartment itself were all perfect. The apartment was cleaner than I ever manage to get my own home. The staff in the hostel were super friendly, and hosted a fun spaghetti night where we met a bunch of...

My husband and I stayed at Andes Apartments for 5 nights and found them to be very comfortable and well located with only a short walk to centre of town. The apartment contained everything we needed and gave us the freedom to cook if we wanted - though we chose to eat out. The apartments are also very close to...

Andes Hostel is ideally suited for young backpackers that are most concerned about price. Andes had a great location; across the street from a subway stop and within walking distance of major attractions. My friends and I had a 4 bed family room, which consisted of a queen bed an 2 bunk beds. The rooms were simply furnished, clean (but...

My review is based on the apartments. I stayed in “room” 304 and I was very pleased with most of my stay. I’ll pros & cons it. room: pros: new, fashion forward, clean and quiet. Tastefully furnished. Good location. Two beds downstairs and a king size bed upstairs. Kitchen had pots, pans, plates and silverware. Good natural and artificial light....

My wife and I stayed here. It was good but expensive for what you get. the rooms are fairly small compared to other places in Chille for that money. the bathrooms are small and the water pressure was not great. The room was clean, although they do not clean your room unless you ask, which i think they should do...
