I spent there 1 night. Rooms are clean interior of the hostel is very nice. Stuff was very nice and helpful. Hostel is located near Plaza de Armes, close to Bella Artes Musem. Lots of pubs, restaurants and bars nearby. Great location for those who want to taste nightlife in Santiago.

After reading such positive reviews, I booked an apartment for 3 nights and I'm extremely glad I did. I picked up the keys from the hostel and headed around the corner to the large complex of 4 big apartment buildings on Merced. They are right next door to a supermarket which is very handy. My apartment was on the 22nd...

Santiago was the first stop on our South American trip, and the Andes Hostel was a nice place to start. The room was comfortable and the food was decent. It's well located and within walking distance from a lot of cool places. The social atmosphere wasn't fantastic, but that was probably a result of the people staying there at the...

I didn't enjoy my time here. I booked a double but was in a twin room (with private bathroom) the sheets on one bed were really dirty so I used the other bed, but the sheets on that bed had yellow marks. Bathroom was clean though. No wifi in room but that was not unexpected. The room was noisy because...

I stayed for two nights. First, the location is very good. It's right next to Bellas Artes Station and you can get there easily. It's safe and walking distance to Plaza Armas. Second, Bedrooms are good. Bed is comfortable and they clean rooms everyday. Bathrooms are in poor condition and they need maintenance. Third, decoration in the hostel is modern...

The pros and cons listed below are for one of the apartments I stayed in for 3 nights. Pros: Great location, WiFi worked well, includes kitchenette, plenty of outlets, nice living room area, privacy door between bedroom and living room, secure building Cons: Bathroom gross, shower horrible (water barely came out, water backed up in tub, looked dirty), toilet paper...

A fantastic hostel in a great central location with a great vibe. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom and it was clean, comfortable and well priced. The staff were the highlight being extremely helpful as we spoke zero Spanish. They translated booking details for us and even printed off itineraries as well. Can't recommend this place enough.

Me and two friends stayed here for four nights in October 2015. The hostel is located directly across from a subways station and some decent restaurants. Walking distance from Plaza del Armas and a museum. We had. Three person room with shared bathroom. The room was very small but did the job as we only sleep there. It was a...

We had a small apartment on the 18th floor in TowerC. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with friendly staff The young man who signed us in was very helpful and even helped us take our luggage over. We had very adequate accommodations that were very clean and comfortable. The location was close to the beautiful parks and...

I really enjoyed staying at Andes Hostel. The location is fantastic and it's very close to the subway station. Wifi is a bit of problem though. Wifi is only allowed in common area and cannot access in the private room. Breakfast was very good as well but there were not many fruits.
