Very nice place, excellent service, tasty breakfast. It could be in New York and it would work. Just one tiny problem, acoustic isolation in bedrooms oriented to the street is not as good as could be.
Concepcion Carro is one of the most popular areas to visit in Valparaiso. This hotel is perfectly situated in Concepcion on a quiet street with great views of the bay. The hotel is small with different priced rooms. Those providing a bay view are more expensive than those…
We spent three nights in this delightfull hotel. Our room (n° 6) had a balcony on the bay and was large enough. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit juices many kinds of eggs. The personnel was very helpful to order UBER taxis and always smiling.
Visited Valparaíso and stayed at Hotel 17 for three nights and I recommend it warmly. The room was bright, clean and had a nice view to the Bahia of Valparaíso. The staff was kind and helpful. My only remark is the floor. It was clean but it might need some more love, i.e. mop…
We were positively surprised with a ocean view room due to our anniversary celebration. Guests have 20% discount in the hotel restaurant which is great and offers fine options! Guests also have a complimentary welcome drink.
"Sea view is beautiful. Ground floor if you mind steps."
"The rooms facing towards the sea have some amazing view"
"We paid a £30 extra for the view, it was totally worth it. Note there is no lift so pack light if you want a room with a view!"
"My room was 217, five metres from Reception at the entrance level. Entrance to the room is by electronic lock so foregoing all the usual hand-in-the-key/carry-it-around-with-you decisions. Despite the room being above the kitchen/restaurant and my patio (shared with another room) being open to (but not shared with) the restaurant, which is open in the evenings, I was not bothered at all by noise. Some occasional ringing phones from Reception perhaps and the creaking of stairs but not that bothered me. If I stayed there again I'd contemplate a room higher up, not because of any noise issues but the patio area was small and shared (with great views, mind) so you couldn't both fling open your door and have the confidence of privacy at the same time, but a small thing, and one that never became an issue. I didn't feel the need to look at other rooms, so can't comment on "
"Ocean view upgrade definetely worthy"
