enjoyed this fun hostal in a very central location. Friendly staff and owner always at breakfast with ideas and tips. stayed in a private room with shared bath. very clean. Apparently one of the oldest hostals in town so lots of experience and connections. Definitely recommend it. Calm vibe, good sleeping with a quiet time from 11pm. Mixture of backpackers,...

This Hostel is located in the heart of Valparaíso, you can walk arround and get to know this really nice city. We stay for 3 nights and it was really nice. The rooms are really clean and quite big, it´s a little bit dificult to get to the hostel if you don´t have any directions, but once you arrive the...

I arrived late (early morning) and had no problems finding or getting into the hostel. It's in a central location very close to nice restaurants and bars. Alda, one of the owners, is very helpul and chatty and makes you feel at home straight away. In fact the hostel has that sort of feel. Rooms are large and airy, beds...

What a lovely friendly, clean hostel, located 10 minute walk from the main plaza. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast... Wow... Fresh bread everyday, homemade jams, freshly made scrambled eggs & fruit... Delicious. The owners are also lovely and so helpful, and have done a far amount of travelling themselves so they can offer excellent advice. Comfortable...

Great service, breakfast, chill people, well located, basically a great value and it's not always the case in Chile. They are helpful with anything that you might need, propose a free tour of the city, the rooms are large and cosy... and clearly the best beds we've had while in Chile haha.

We were greeted by a very friendly lady who was helpful and informative. The hostel is in a perfect location just 2 minute walk downhill from where the buses leave to take you to town and 4 blocks away from a safe restaurant street. The bathrooms are very clean, and hot water for showers. The WIFI only works in the...

Our family had a great stay at Casa Aventura. Christian and Alda are very kind and helpful in a great location on Cerro Conception. The house has great space and very clean common bathroom and kitchen space. It's one of the friendliest hostels we've been in! We highly recommend Casa Aventura when staying in Valparaiso.

The strong point of Hostel Casa Aventura is the atmosphere and the staff. My room was probably not the best of the hostel and the kitchen is a bit small, but I would definitely come back as the owner (Christian), his wife, the receptionist (Nadeska) and all other staff were very friendly/helpful and it happened to meet interesting people in...

My girlfriend an me stayed at the Hostal Casa Aventura to spend new year's eve there. We took advantage of the great "new-years-eve" package, staying 3 nights in the hostel with a wonderful breakfast (fresh fruits, homemade jam, organic tea, ...). The atmosphere was chilled-out, the owner (Christian) and his wife exceptionally friendly, open-minded and helpful. It's location is within...

A mate and I just stayed here for one night. The staff are very friendly, especially the owner who joined everyone around the table for a communal breakfast and a good chat. Admittedly, not being a fantastic morning person, I was a bit concerned about actually communicating with people at breakfast, but it worked out brilliantly. The rooms and beds...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In an historical house our guests find accommodation in spacious double and three-bed rooms with shared bathrooms. A good fully equipped kitchen offers the possibility of self-catering. Over a hearty breakfast you can get in contact with other travelers or pick up more concrete information about the city and the surrounding area. We - Alda and Christian- as geographers, like to chat about the diversity of nature in this country, and as a bi-national family, about social and cultural themes of life in Chile. ... more   less
