This hostel has many positives. Rooms and bathrooms are fine. Communal area and kitchen were great with cool spiral staircase. Wifi fine but didn't work in our room. No curtains in room was a draw back. Also we were kicked out of the common area at 11pm. There were only 4-5 of us making very little noise. Seemed harsh but...

Casa verde limon is the worst hostel in South America. Don't go there. I don't know how but it had a high rating om hostelworld. There is not even curtains in the room, while the street light is on just in front of the window, so its never dark at night. Rooms are way too small. Clothes got stolen there...

This is an OK hostel, located a short walk from many interesting restaurants and sites, but not in the most central location. There is a nice communal area with kitchen and rooms are clean and have everything you need. A few little issues prevent us from giving 5 stars. We booked two ensuite rooms for our party, although one was...

Central location but right near a square where hippies and hobos hang out so quite loud. Don't let them do your laundry, had quite a few things go missing, usually it's just socks and underwear that disappear but have a feeling they took our shorts and jumpers to sell :( check in takes forever as they're very strict about processes.

This place is located on a very noisy square where students, hippies and hobos gather at night and sing (badly), play musical instruments (badly) and drink and until about 3am. The noise is absolutely appalling and makes sleep impossible without earplugs. The property itself is very run down and dirty and has a definite feeling of "student house" about it....

The building was really nice, but all in all I wouldn't stay there again. It was really noisy all night, the bathrooms not too clean and who I suppose was the owner really unfriendly, when asked for specific info about the city. There's much better options in Valparaiso with more value for your money.

This is not one of the better hostels we've stayed in. Although it had a decent kitchen, hot showers and the staff were welcoming. The location is far from ideal and across the road from a noisy square where people sing and dance all night until 3 am. We arrived after a long journey and couldn't sleep! The room was...

I stayed at Casa Verde Limon for my first few nights in Chile. Fairly easy to navigate from the bus station (just hop on the local bus) and located right near a bunch of restaurants and bars. Staff was awesome and let us drop our bags a few hours early before check-in so we could start exploring the city, even...

We booked two nights at verde limon on recommendations from hostelworld and other sites but our experience was far from 5 stars. We arrived at 10.30pm and after being shown our room we went to the common area to have a bite to eat after a long days travelling. 5 minutes later we were promptly told that the common area...
