We stayed for 2 nights & totally loved everything about the place. The upstairs private room with day bed was amazing. The best thing that my husband couldn't believe just before going to bed they bought up some hot tea & two hot water bottles....More
Everything that's been said about this hotel is true -- the views are amazing and the rooms are incredibly unique and tastefully designed. A very cool experience, indeed.
That said, it was a generally underwhelming stay. We were there in the summer of 2014 (yes,...More
When talent, commitment for excellence, passion and love integrate together, a place like hacienda Rumiloma evolves. There are a lot of superb hotels in Quito but Rumiloma gives its guests an entirely different experience. The hotel nestles in the mountain slope, surrounded by a forrest,...More

Just returned from Hacienda Rumiloma. Stayed there 3 nights with family and friends. Beautiful place with fantastic views of Quito but very boring. Can't really walk around the property but can admire the peacocks from our window. Staff does not speak English. Breakfast is included but missable. Dinner menu was delicious but does not warrant the NYC prices! Not recommend for children or anyone not in perfect physical shape. I walk 3-4 miles daily but found it difficult to walk around here due to unkept grounds and height. Might be a good place for honeymooners since it is very isolated with absolutely nothing to do.
