We arrived to a very warm welcome. Our room was small but beautiful. Nice firm bed. Electric radiator in the room (we didn't need it). Mariela speaks excellent English and went out of her way to provide us with detailed information about the local buses. Breakfast service was on the slow side and the buffet dishes were sometimes empty but...

Honestly, hands down one of the BEST places to stay in Quito. The neighborhood is super hip and trendy and quiet - lots of artists, small neighborhood shops, fresh fruit market down the street, tons of amazing restaurants nearby, really cool foodtruck/hangout spot up the street - neighborhood reminded me of parts of brooklyn, just had great vibes to it...

I spent here first couple of nights after arrival. The hotel was clean and quiet. Large rooms with heavy wooden furniture provided lots of space for personal items. Beds were comfortable and bathroom had a bathtub. Slippers, dressing gowns and basic toiletries were provided and internet worked without any problems. It was a little cold at night but there were...

In the La Floresta area of Quito we found this beautiful Hotel. This stylish hotel has 10 rooms, 6 on the main floor with an own patio and a beautiful view on the garden. The other rooms are on the first floor. All the rooms are spacious. The ambiance and atmosphere in the hotel is excellent! Carlos and Mariela make...

Good location in quiet but safe neighbourhood. This a real boutique hotel with historical decoration and furniture. Lots of character. Yet they were comfortable. Breakfast good. Hot water was deficient but they will turn that up if requested And bring your own bath plug! Management were very helpful and that clinches the five stars for me

Spent two nights here on my way to the Galapagos. The room was very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast substantial. After a long flight this is a comfortable place to hang your hat for a couple of days .....and get aclimatized

This hotel redefines the words chic and boutique! The staff is marvelous. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I felt very comfortable. One quirk was the lack of WiFi in my room. However it was no problem in the common areas which are a delight! I definitely recommend this property in Quito.

I stayed here for two nights at the start of a horseback ride and one night at the end. The hotel is beautiful, intimate and very homey. The staff were superb, extremely friendly and willing to help in any way possible. I would love to travel here again just to visit this lovely hotel.

My husband and I stayed in Casa Aliso for two nights before our Galápagos vacation: the friendly staff and beautiful inn were difficult to leave! While the hotel itself is so colorful and charming--seems like a lovely home, which it was from the 1930s--the staff are what made our time there so perfect. From the manager and registration clerk to...

It is clear why Hotel Aliso has such a high rating, it is small scale but with wonderful staff. They were ready to help at any hour of the day and all spoke excellent English.
