A brilliant hostel, me and two friends stayed here during our S American travels. Great facilities (showers as you expect out here), nice beds and lovely garden, best of all really friendly and helpful staff who made the stay a joy! Even helped us get a taxi at midnight for a last minute KFC run after 5 hours on a...

Stayed in 2 different private rooms which were really spacious and very clean. Hostel has good friendly vibe and decent common area with a billiard and foosball tables. The showers weren't that great in either room but had decently warm water. Good wifi and the $3.50 breakfast was worth it. We would stay here again.

I stayed here 1 week and it was amazing! I felt like home since i arrived, they treated me really well specially the owner (Ornelia) was very welcoming. I received many detail information of things to do around the city. Likewise, the volunteers explained everything well and helped me feel more confortable with all the areas. Although the floor was...

The $3.50 breakfast is definitely worth it - delicious and made to order. Everyone working at the hostel is really friendly and little touches like free purified water, tea and coffee go a long way. Advice on travelling to other local areas is available as well as a link to a local tour company. The place is a little tired...

I travelled throughout Ecuador for 2 months and this was my favorite hostel. I came back at the end of my trip because it felt like home. The breakfast is a bit more expensive than at the local restaurants, but the lovely fruit salad and real coffee are definitely worth it. A few of the rooms have 3 beds, and...

This hostel isn't flash, new or fancy but makes up for its age with old world charm and fantastic staff. We stayed in a room off the garden away from the main building that may once have been stables but is now quite adequate accommodation. It was a little cold at night but warm blankets are provided as is towels,...

During your trip in Ecuador, Quito figures as the central hub in the country. In the 3 times that we visited Quito, we stayed in Colonial House. We felt very welcomed in this comfortabele hostel. The staff is nice, beds are great and they have an awesome gameroom. We would definately stay again!

Stayed here for a few nights whilst in Quito & weren't disappointed. Well situated in the Old Town, few minutes walk in to the main area. The staff are very helpful with information about visiting places around Quito. There is free purified water, tea & coffee all day. They have a good breakfast for 3.50. The only downside is some...

We stayed here for 8 nights and it was absolutely the best place we stayed at so far. The owner is just the nicest person and the volunteers who work there are really helpful and sociable, which adds to the great atmosphere. Next time we re in Quito, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Thank Coen B
