From the first email to the last heartfelt goodbye Sonja, Bernardo and the team at this beautiful hotel were friendly, professional, enthusiastic, helpful and kind. Our group of 7 booked for 3 nights in Quito. We thought the hotel had a uniqueness that made our stay all the more delightful. The rooms are clean, tidy, have interesting art pieces, comfortable...

Tucked just off the Plaza San Francisco is this family run hotel with bags of character. A covered courtyard has an arty metal sculpture framework of trees, birds and flowers to hide the modern roof. Antique tiles, heirloom furniture, lots of plants and curios fill the spaces to create a homely and comfortably colonial feel. Bedrooms all have new mattresses...

Nicely located in the Centro, this is a lovely old home that has been re-purposed as a boutique hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little on the stuffy side (portable fans would sure help for those who come from a colder clime). Breakfast is ample, delicious and varied. The hosts (Sonia, Calle, Bernando) are friendly and attentive....

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of January and beginning of February 2016. Sonia, the owner, made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was perfectly comfortable and the hotel itself is really interesting with a beautiful ceiling and an internal central courtyard at the heart of the building with comfortable seating areas...

We stayed for two nights after visiting the Galapagos islands. We arrived late-ish (after coming back from a day tour to Mitad del Mundo and Otavelo) and were welcomed by a helpful guy who showed us this charming hotel and advised us on where to go to walk / eat at night. Breakfast was great and we got everything we...

The hotel was very well located and had excellent staff. The staff went above and beyond to help us out with a shipping issue after we'd left Quito. Breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit, eggs, and tasty pastries. The decor and ambience of the renovations were very beautiful.

What a fabulous place. Stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis for 3 nights at the end of January. A warm welcome from the owner Sonia who couldn't do enough for us too ensure we were all happy with our rooms. A truly delightful lady....it was like staying with an old friend...or your Mum, she made us that welcome!...

This boutique hotel is lovely: filled with history and lovely antiques. We spent three nights and both the owner and staff helped in every way possible, even chilling and bringing us glasses for the wine we had bought. The plaza San Francisco is just a few steps away and we found all the main sights of the Old Town of...

We really liked this place. The internal courtyard is so pretty and the staff are really helpful. The location is brilliant - right beside the Plaza San Francisco. It's set back from the street though, so it feels quiet and secluded. It's an old wooden building so you might notice that you can hear the noise of floorboards creaking etc...

We spend a great week in this hotel which has a supreme setting in Quitos old town. The hotel is in an old monastery and has a beautiful interior with lots of antiquities. The Sanchez family and staff really cared for us, i.e. they called the airport a lot of times since our luckages was delayd by 40 hours ....
