This hotel was in oldest part of part of the city. It is quite beautiful, but not as warm of a feeling as the other hotel we stayed in in Quito earlier in our trip. If you are just there a short time it is a great location with very pretty rooms and the location can't be beat. Better if...

My family and I stayed for 2 nights around Christmas in 2016, at the recommendation of a friend. In sum, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and can highly recommend La Casona. It is a small boutique inn (a renovated historic mansion) with a great location in the heart of Old Town Quito, and you actually could never tell from the...

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in room 12. An large room, with one of the largest beds we've ever seen. And, there was TWO luggage stools for our two bags...which was greatly appreciated . The room overlooked the street, and yes, we were there for a noisy Saturday night. In our opinion the room coped with the noise quite...

This hotel is charming, centrally located and cozy! We started our honeymoon here and it was a great first stop. It's located in a really safe part of Quito with lots of cute shops and restaurants within walking distance (be sure to check our Pizza Bohemia right around the corner). Our room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast...

Spent two nights here in Room 10 before the Galapagos and three nights afterwards, including New Year, in Room 4. Boutique hotel located on cobbled street in Old Town area. That means luggage must be carried from car park during the day to the hotel - say 200m, although staff take luggage from you as soon as they can and...

You cannot fault this place, only downside is the cobble stone pavement to the hotel, take a toll on your wheeled luggage. Everything is top notch, so modern inside. The rooms are big, clean and quiet. Front office staff speak good english but wait staff english is a bit lacking.

We stayed here for our first 2 nights on a multi-generational trip to Ecuador (11 people, ages 10-76). It was a fantastic location, perfect for exploring Old Town. Inside was a beautiful architectural surprise, with charming nooks in which to explore and linger. We spent many hours in the upstairs lounge with incredible views of the city, accessible via a...

We were lucky to get this great hotel during Habitat III, it is walkable to many of the historic quarter main sights, and had nice rooms and great common space to relax away from the the hectic city streets. I'm sure it is less busy during other times.
