Alberto gave us an informative overview of Ecudor as we walked through Old Quito on the Free Walking Tour. 30 of us showed up and they broke us into 2 groups of 15 which was great. Thank you Alberto! In the evening Obi guided us on a reasonably priced private Walking Foodie Tour for just 4 of us as we...

I stayed here for one night the day before I needed to leave for the airport. I wasn't looking for the community feel, but they had a lot of great programs set up for those who were, plus meals you could opt into. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the showers were numerous. An extra bonus is that they...

One of the best hostels, we have stayed in. We also stayed in another popular Quito hostel, Secret Garden Quito and the Community Hostel beats it hands down. Firstly, the hostel goes for nice, lighth and simple design rooms. We stayed in a private room and surprised by the size of the room. There are plenty of bathrooms and all...

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in all of South America. It has everything you need (comfortable beds, hot showers, good food, tours etc) and one of the friendliest, most welcoming atmospheres. Highly recommend.

I didn't stay here but showed up for the free walking tour and Equator tour. Even though I wasn't a guest at the hostel they were very welcoming and friendly, made their amenities available to me and welcomed my friends and me back for drinks anytime. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Only stayed for one night but had a great time at Community Hostel! Lovely staff, clean, really comfy beds, great atmosphere. Only negative is it is noisy at night as firstly it's an old building so you can hear people as they walk to the toilet etc...nothing a pair of ear plugs wouldn't fix. Would happily stay again!

We landed in Quito to start our journey and had read great things about Community Hostel, so decided to book a few nights. The staff are incredibly helpful, and there is a great setup to meet fellow travelers. Many were sharing stories, though we mostly listened. The hostel also does a great job of providing entertainment every night, from pub...

Stayed in a private room which was $30usd per night. Clean and cosy with towels provided. Not many bathrooms so there was a bit of a wait usually for showers in the morning. Friendly welcoming staff. Breakfast not included. Dinner is cooked by a chef on a daily basis for a few and was good! My only complaint is relating...
