Judging from all the reviews we read online, we expected more of this place. But already at check-in we were disappointed by a rather disinterested staff member, who was much more into finishing her makeup than into explaining anything to us. The room itself was ok, but certainly nothing to write home about and the shared bathroom was on the...

This is quite a nice hostel with a great (but expensive restaurant) but we found the location to be a little far from everything. It is great if you want to walk to both areas of the city but during the weekends (particularly Sunday) there was nothing open. There is a kitchen at the hostel but the nearest proper supermarket...

This place was clean, safe and centrally located halfway between Quito's two tourist districts with easy access to the bus. The staff were helpful and a few of them spoke some excellent english. The courtyard garden area was a great spot to enjoy breakfast. Overall great value, strongly recommend it.

We arrived at 6.30AM at the hotel, but our room was already ready and available. We started with a delicious breakfast (buffet) with fresh fruit, fruit juice, scrambled eggs, toast (what more to ask for?!) and then took a quick nap in very comfortable beds before heading out to the city. The walk into town is not too long, though...

I had booked this hostel by exchanging emails with Estefania who booked a taxi for us at the airport since we were coming in with a late flight. I was really hoping that the guy who was supposed to be there with a sign with my name on it was going to be there. As a matter of fact, he...

The place itself was fine: good location (20 minutes walk to the centre of the new town, 25 minutes to the old town and very close to the bus), simple rooms but with a good hot shower and a delicious breakfast buffet for only $3,50 p.p. Good value for the price. The thing that spoiled it for us, was the...

I stayed 2 times for few months in L'Auberge Inn and I really liked it. Quiet, clean, nice garden, very frendly stuff reacting rapidly all my requests, with a restaurant and travel agency inside. it's also conveniently located right between the old town and Mariscal. I enjoyed my staying there and recommended to some my friends.

We spent Christmas 2012 in L'Auberge in and had a fantastic stay. The hostel has a quiet, calm and friendly atmosphere that is noticeable upon entry compared to the busy streets of Quito. It genuinely felt like being locked away from the hustle and bustle outside. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We tried several different dishes during...

The place is close to the historic area. It's quiet and the rooms even though are not big they have light and they're nice. They have a common area in the garden really nice, and they have tables with a billiard inside as well. Shared bathrooms and kitchen a bit old.

I stayed at l'Auberge Inn for a few nights during my trip to Ecuador and I think it's a good value for the money. It's walking distance from Old Quito and Mariscal and there's a travel agency in the hotel so you can book tours from there. There's a restaurant that serves good food but it's a bit pricy (but...
