I am a solo female traveller who stayed here one week. The place was amazing! The location is great - close to shops, great food, and parks. You can walk to old town pretty easily. I always felt safe in the area. The guesthouse was clean and cozy. Breakfast was fresh and filling, but the best part was the real,... More

Ela, Chasy and Louis were great hosts. Their hotel is great. They were always ready to make a recommendation on what to see or do in Quito / Ecuador. Super helpful! The included breakfast was always full of fresh yummy goodness. Next time we are in Quito, we will be sure to stop over there again. Ela and Chasky are... More

I have just stayed here for three nights and I can not recommend enough. The place is very clean and homely. There are a variety of rooms available, from dorms, to single rooms, to double rooms and even family rooms. I stayed in a double room which had two double beds. The staff here are probably the most friendly people... More

I stayed with Kingdom Kichwa for one night while I was in Quito (I stayed a day longer than initially intended). It was in a great location, very close to Plaza Foch. Ella and Chasky are extremely friendly and hospitable. I arrived around 9 pm with a sour stomach and they were kind enough to make soothing tea for me... More

Stay here if you are in a low budget, about $20 a night. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a fancy stay. Stay in this hotel will let you hang our at night on the Mariscal area and some landmarks in Quito.

Couldn't recommend this place more highly after our fantastic stay at Kingdom Kichwa. We booked for 2 nights initially and ended up staying on at the end of our time in Ecuador also. The place was bright, clean, well located and served an excellent breakfast. The airport transfer arranged for us was very convenient, especially with our flight getting in... More

I did not stay at the Kingdom Kichwa hostel but I did book one of their mountain guides, Chasky. The hike was not an easy one and Chasky got us through it. It was a full 8 hour hike of the Pichincha Volcano and its 3 peaks, Guga, Padre Encantado and Rucu. We started by summating Guaga, surfing down the... More

This hostel is fantastic! Very homey feel with excellent hosts. Chasky and Ella were very helpful and had lots of information on things to do around Quito. There is no problem if you only speak English. Location is excellent, very close to Plaza Foch. Wifi is strong in all the rooms and is quick. And the included breakfast is one... More

I have spent the past three days at Kingdom Kichwa and was absolutely amazed about the service and friendliness I have received there. The hostel is run by two Ecuadorian brothers (Luis and Chasky) and a Polish girl. Together with a Polish couple Chasky took us on different trips to the mountains and surrounding villages. What makes his tours really... More
