For the money, excellent hotel to spend your sleeping hours in. Aside from no heaters in the rooms, the blankets kept me warm at bedtime. The owner and front desk staff speak very good english and are helpful when asked. It is an older hotel without much in line of amenities, however the price offsets those things. I will defintely...

I have traveled extensively in South America. Typical low budget, sparsely decorated motel. Great location(during the day). A nice market just down the street, coffee shop next door and many restaurants in the neighborhood. Staff very helpful in arranging tours. Would definitely stay again..

Needed a budget hotel as we were landing in Quito after midnight and leaving at 6am so review may not be truly representative of the hotel's facilities. We only saw the lady night receptionist who had to be woken up to register us. The night porter boy was very helpful in carrying our heavy luggage up and down stairs to...

Stayed one night with a large group. Three of us got a room downstairs close to the street. The noise began around 1 am - shrieking, slamming, clonking, clanging, stomping, tapping, yelling, shouting, thumping......I could go on and on! (Much like the noise) It went on until about 4 am and then we finally got to sleep. A sleeping bag...

clean enough, $35/night, basic but free wi-fi, all staff very friendly and most speak english, very close to the new town (club pub restaurants) area but still quiet at night and is only a short taxi fare to old town area. We would stay here again if budget backpacking. The cafe out front is very good and cheap - value...

This hotel is clean but basic. If you are interested in a bed, bathroom and little else for cheap this is what you want. If you are interested in luxury travel look elsewhere.

This is a very good hotel to catch between flights. Rooms are absolutely no frill but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the airport and is known by the Taxi drivers. No restaurant but only a short distance from several neat places. For convenience to airport and price, you can't beat it.

I arrived and they did not have my reservation. That did not worry me since they got me to a room. The room was large, TV, and shower only. I stayed there two nights. The staff spoke broken English, but I used my Spanish. They were VERY helpful and accomidating. For the price and the location, it was worth the...

I was extremely surprised and happy with the quality of this hotel. After spending a week in Peru in rough lodging, I didn't have high expectations at all. The hotel is in the new part of the city, about 20 mins from the airport. The hotel is a little hidden, sandwiched between two little restaurants. The older gentleman at the...

It is old, and cheap. Rooms very big, water was hot, linen clean. Secure, but do not go outside alone after dark, the area is not very safe. If you need to spend just a night in Quito, it is OK, but do not expect anything nice.
