This gem is a blast from the past. It's very clean but it is showings it's age a bit. The staff are helpful but the real attraction is the historical beauty of the place. Plus it's in a great location. My one complaint would be that they keep the ac way to high.

Rooms are small, cramped and characterless. Teeny, weeny bathrooms in need of updating. Breakfasts are barely adequate, runny scrambled eggs and wieners. Toaster does not work. For me the hotel is too far from the centre. Some reviews say you can walk, but it is 40 minutes, so no popping in and out of your hotel for a refresher or...

Stayed here at the beginning and end of our G-Adventures Galapagos tour. Hotel is very nice, with interesting architecture. The rooms are basic but clean and there is hot water for a shower. The hotel is in a good location in Quito and is close to restaurants and a supermarket. Also, there is a nice patio area with a waterfall...

I stayed here for a week with my daugther, and all in all this hotel had nearly everything. We were really happy because it was close to our ex-apartment on Ave, Republica and Almagro. We had to return to the United States where we live today. It was a good time!

We stayed 6 nights here , using this hotel as our base in Quito as we travelled around Ecuador. We were very happy with the Eugenia Hotel . It's bright and clean , and the staff are very friendly. There is unlimited internet use and a very good breakfast every morning.

The staff at Eugenia hotel is extremely helpful, specifically Frank who helped us in planning our trip even days after we left the hotel we called him and he helped in our arrangements for transport, etc. He couldn't have been more gracious. The hotel is located close to Foch plaza, less than 10 mins walking and is ideally central relative...

I stayed here for a week, and all in all this hotel had nearly everything I could possibly need and everything I expected for the price of a room. The only thing I did want which my room didn't have, and I don't none of the rooms had was a mini bar fridge, or at least a fridge by itself....

Stayed here for 2 nights at the begining of a group tour across South America. Nice hotel, basic but clean with very helpful staff. Its located quite a way from the main areas of the city, but it is walkable in around 40-50 minutes. Would stay again if passing through Quito in the future

The staff was so very accommodating they bent over backward to meet a request. The young men who assisted us upon our late arrival were very hard working and the pride they had for the hotel and their jobs was contagious.
