The building is corgeous from colonial time and nicely decorated in the common areas. The rooms are fine and functional, although the carpet in our room needed replacing. The WI-FI is weak and near useless. The breakfast was adequate, but the coffee was terrible (extremely weak) and then when I asked for an espresso instead, it was also quite bad...

We decided to stay here bases on reviews we had read. They were not exaggerating. From the warm, friendly greeting at the front desk when we arrived, to the comfortable room, to a very nice breakfast, this was a nice place to stay. You will not be disappointed by the hospitality, the helpful staff, the beautiful building, the good night's...

Stayed here for two nights for a vacation weekend in Quito. The hotel has a nice decoration. The hotel staff was REALLY kind and helpful. We got a room with two twin beds instead of the Queen size bed room we reserved. Room was big enough and overall clean. The beds were cozy and comfy, had a really nice sleep....

Eugenia Hotel is exquisite -- beautiful iron work, ceiling mural, marble, art deco details, stunning petite bar. And the staff are friendly and tried their best to be helpful. BUT... can't get a good night's sleep. One night we had an "inside" room with a window on to the interior staircase. Noise echoed into our room ALL night long. Even...

The location is very good. In the quite side of Mariscal district (Gringo-city). on the good side clean rooms, receptionists with very good english that were very helpful and friendly. warm water in the shower. fairly reasonable wifi connection, nice buffet breakfast with very smiley waiter on the disappointing side: the walls haven't been painted for a long time and...

This hotel is very nicely decorated (loved the pink exterior!) Room on the third floor was large and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, buffet style. Room was very clean and maid service was nice and prompt. Only negatives were the shower curtain needs a change and the wifi is too weak (had to crack the door to let the signal in...

We stayed recently at either end of a tour to the amazon basin. We stayed in two different rooms, and they were happy to store our luggage during he week we were away. This is a nice hotel, but not top line by any means. It is decked out in French provincial style, ie white woodwork and pastel shades. It...

It was a good location for the price, within walking distance of Plaza Foch, a kind of night life zone in Quito. Although you have to walk to get to the Trole (Subway like transportation service). The hotel is a little dated, but has all the services in order. The staff tries to help although having to ring to enter...

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were very disappointed with the area. We thought, that we have booked a hotel in the livable area of Quito. However, it turned out to be more of an industrial area within walking distance to more interesting areas of the city. Having said that, we were very impressed with the service at the front...
