This hotel is on the edge of the main tourist area, Mariscal Sucre. Just a five minute walk around the corner brings you to Plaza Foch which is full of, shops, travel agents and restaurants. The slightly dark rooms are livened up with brightly coloured woven rugs on the walls. The street outside can be unsafe and it would be...

Basically a decent cheap, clean small hotel used by alot of tours ( which is why I was there ) as a starting hotel. Close to plenty of reasonable places to eat. Nice, safe walk into the old part of Quito.Hotel staff where helpful and the breakfast was a nice start to my day. Internet cafe just across the street.

I cant comment on the price because this was organized though a tour group. I found the location close to everything. I had no problem walking home from the clubs and restaurants all-thought the staff don't recommend it if you are by yourself. The rooms where clean and I had no problem sleeping. The receptionists spoke English and was extremely...

Most rooms are triples, be sure to press hard if you want a double. These will only be rooms 24, 25, 34, 35, 44 & 45. The rooms are basic, but have power, hot showers with great pressure and cold basin taps. The rooms are generally clean (don't look under the bed) and you get fresh towels daily. The location...

We were looking for a nice hostal but economical and situated in a good location and we found it. The hostal is small, but the location is ideal for a tourist. The rooms are clean, there is hot water. For us it was a nice place and very economically. The staff is very friendly. Next time in Quito we would...

Stayed here 2 nights before flying out for my Galapagos cruise, I didn't choose the hotel, it's where the Galapagos tour company put us up. The hotel is a bit inconspicuous from the street. Inside, the guys at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Ask them where you might go to buy something or where to eat and they're...

We stayed at this budget hostal at the beginning and end of our trip to the Galapagos Islands. We arrived at around 10 pm by taxi ($6 from the airport if you pay for a voucher at the transport info counter as you leave customs). The hostel is not signed at street level and we were told by the taxi...

I stayed at the Junior Plaza as part of a tour to the Galapagos (we spent the night in Quito before and after the tour). The hotel was part of the package. The street that the hotel was on, didn't feel completely safe at night, but the hotel was very close to the very busy (and thus safer feeling) Mariscal...

address: Amazonas 854 y Veintimilla, email: (---) Since we stayed for 4 nights, our double room with private bath (no breakfast) was $28/night (originally $36). It is a good location, clean, quiet, great water pressure, ample hot water, secure & with helpful staff.
