Well positioned, efficiently run and very clean, this hotel gave us everything we needed: comfortable beds, decent bathrooms, friendly service and made-to- order breakfast each day. Great value for visitors to Quito.

Comfortable, safe hotel within five minute walk to Plaza Foch. Maria was a delight at breakfast every morning, starting our day with a smile. People told us this was a dangerous area, but my wife and I walked everywhere and never felt threatened.

We did not need but I do not think so. At least I did not see a shuttle. But they probably can arrange for you. That is how in most of Q anyway.

Is parking available?
Hi. The hotel is gated for security we were on a mini bus so I am not sure but I would think the only parking will be on the street outside. Hope this helps.

Hi Steve, sorry if this is too late but I don't check tripadvisor regularly. It takes about 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel, maybe a little more in rush hour. We had transfers so I'm afraid I don't know the price. The safest way is as with the rest of the city to take an official cab with all the badges. That said, we used an unbadged taxi for another trip once and it was fine and in general we found the city safe - did quite a bit of walking at night to and from restaurants and bars. There were a few streets that looked dodgy but use commonsense and you should be fine.

"Hacienda style. Room away from potential street noise would be better."
"Try to get the room with the loft if you have 3 / 4 people. We had three and that was much roomier on our second visit there."
"Main house is most comfortable. Do not miss breakfast."
"The main building ,up the spiral steps from reception"
"All rooms seem good to me. 16 in our group and no-one moaned."
