Well situated this charming looking small hotel has lovely staff and turns out an excellent breakfast. But my room was awful. It was a fourth floor walk up. There was one ceiling light with a 40 watt bulb and a bedside lamp at the foot of the bed but it didn't work. Neither did the tv. No sound insulation meant...

Think of a charming little hotel sitting at the corner of the street. The inside of Hotel Vieja Cuba is as quaint as its outside. Don't expect modern facilities like card keys or central electrical switches. It is a double storey building and there is no elevator to the second floor. It is like a hotel on the countryside except...

My friends and I stayed at Vieja Cuba on the recommendation of a friend who lived in the area. We stayed in an upstairs room which had three beds. While the room was small and a bit crowded, it also felt cozy. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was cold but we were able to request a portable...

This is a small hotel with wonderful employees, clean rooms and a big breakfast. They were always there to help when we needed it. Its gated so you don't have to worry about people coming in. There are many restaurants in the area with our favourite being Crepes and Waffles.

We stayed 2 nights when we first got to Quito, then another night returning from Galapagos, and another when we got back from the Amazon. I left luggage I didn't need on each leg, no charge. I stayed in 3 different rooms. All very clean, charming. Hot, powerful water in the showers. Not right in Plaza Foch area, with all...

This hotel is charming inside and out, albeit what I would consider a more basic/standard hotel. The location was central however it is located in the entertainment section which is basically full of bars, restaurants and clubs. We were told a lot of Quito's young crowd and students come here on the weekends to 'whoop it up'. That was apparent....

This is a really nice hotel located in the middle of the city. It has electronically locked gates, a breakfast room where you have breakfast every morning, nice rooms, friendly staff, and very good WiFi. The hotel is conveniently located close to a supermarket, some restaurants, ATMs, and the Mariscal Sucre district of the city. The receptionist was also helpful...

What a nice hotel. Lovely friendly staff - especially the little lady who scurried around the breakfast room dispensing food and drink in all directions. Our room was on the first floor which was nice and handy and the hotel was convenient for all sorts of places.

I stayed several days in this beautiful hotel. Invisible located in a quiet neighbourhood with few restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are super nice and lovely decorated with different seizes. There are to buildings with rooms and as I stayed different days when I stopped in Quito I had each time a different one. The one in the main...
