THE GOOD: Bataburo's location is great - far away from human centers and the sky (on the only clear night) was stunning. The area is quite nice with a "private" lake and some very interesting wildlife (we saw hoatzin, tapir, caiman, tarantulas, parrots, monkeys, frogs, insects, lots of nocturnal creatures). Amazing place from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. Fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, meat. The tour guide was just fantastic.
