Family room for four was lovely wood floor with balcony. La Ronda is at end of street with restaurants, bars and nightly parades....at the weekend. Hostel is out of earshot. Good view from roof terrace. Good for historic centre. Good breakfast. Top value.

Excelent hostel, clean facilities and friendly staff. Perfect location to discover the secrets of Quito. Competitive prices, 10€ per night in our case. They kept our package for a day even after the check out.

Place is safe since you have to call at night to come in. Room are basic, mine has a bathroom inside. I enjoyed a lot my stay. I've been well informed by Jaime, it has been so nice to chat with him. The location is quite good you can reach a place by walking 5 minutes away from which you...

La Posada is a great place to start your travels in Ecuador if you're on a budget. Clean, simple rooms with high ceilings and plenty of space. Monica and her son Ivan are very helpful (though quite reserved hosts). Ivan speaks good English. There's good wifi and a communal computer you can use. Desayuno (breakfast) is $2.50 and the typical...

From all the places I stayed in quito I would recommend this place for anyone on a budget. $10 a night, comfy beds, hot showers and in the old part of town! Really great roof top patio over looking the city! Very helpful owner!

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here. We asked for a private room, and got a 4 bed dorm room to ourselves with an attached washroom. It was perfect for us to spread our stuff everywhere :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also comfortable enough with English (and our guidebook level Spanish). The location...

My friends and I spent a total of 6 nights at La Posada Colonial, returning to the same room each time we returned to Quito. The staff were always super friendly and helpful, in both English and Spanish (though they certainly preferred to speak in Spanish) -- I was a little concerned at first about my lack of Spanish, especially...

Payed $10 for a large room with a private bathroom. Right in Centro Historico and La Ronda. The family that owns the place is extremely friendly and helpful, talked to them for at least an hour. Was not very loud and busy.

For 10 dollars a night you get a spacious room for yourself. I had one with two beds and the other week even one with three beds all at the same price. The hostel is clean, the breakfast for 2$ extra ok, staff is friendly and I did like the beds and the blankets very much. To the grand plaza...
