A truly historic house, dating back to 1705 has just opened it??s door as a hotel with 18 comfortable rooms. It is beautifully renovated with great emphasis on the original details and has all the comfort expected today, including a central air conditioning system. All the furniture is handmade by recognized Ecuadorian artisans and many original paintings decorate public and private areas. You will live in a real historic surrounding. The hotel is definitely declared non-smoking. It is located a block away from the main square "Plaza de la Independencia", the Government Palace and very close to many historic monuments of Quito. We also have an exclusive dining room and coffee-shop.

In the Old Town if Quito, built in 1705, this newly restored boutique hotel with 18 rooms is perfect for a stay in Quito. We highly recommend it. Light breakfast included. Walking distance to many scenic churches and an open market.

We just ended a 5-night stay at the El Relicario del Carmen, and we were very pleased. I am happy to report that we had no issues at all with waiting for the staff to answer the doorbell. Our longest wait was probably 40 seconds, and most of the time the wait was less than 30

We have stayed in the hotel for 3 days. Its location couldn't be better - it is located in the heart of Old Town, only stone through from Plaza Grande and many big churches. In contrary to some other reviews we had no problem locating the hotel. Mind you though that the hotel

Right where you want on be in Quito. Kind staff, great breakfast, good wifi. All in all wonderfull. Again, there is no better location in Quito for being in the old Unesco area. Great place! Jeremy, AB Canada

We spent two nights here, and wish it were longer. Located in a colonial house two blocks from the Plaza Grande in the old town, the hotel couldn’t be more convenient. We secured a room on the ground floor by preference, and it was very comfortably appointed and supremely

Do you have airport shuttle service?
We recommend the airport taxi service for a save transfer to our hotel. You will see the taxi reservation stand when leaving the restricted area inside the airport in front of the door. Taxi ride from the airport takes aprox. 45 minutes. We are 43 km away from Tababela airport. Taxi fare is around $ 30. Airport taxis are controlled and safe. Have a nice trip. "Rooms on the top floor are quiet--but you need to climb four flights, which can be taxing at Quito's elevation of 9,300 feet!"
"Try for the room at the top. Amazing views."
"My room faced a quiet courtyard. Rooms facing the street may have heard traffic noise."
"Some rooms have no external window and just overlook the reception."
"We were happy on the bottom floor but I think most of the rooms were on the second and third floors."
