The place is centraly located, the rooms are wide and spacious with great views out of the city. The staff is really friendly on giving information to see Cuenca! The breakfast is delicious...

Booked this without knowing the city or location. It is hard choosing a place just by the description. Well, this was a gem of a find. The location is excellent, short walk to the center of the historic old town. The rooms were very nice and plenty of room. We had a heater in our room, which was necessary,so we...

This was just the very type of place we wanted to stay in while visiting Cuenca. It is an old Spanish colonial home turned into an exquisite hotel. The decor is fantastic with handpainted plaster walls, and one feel like they are entering into a different era once you step inside. It is within very short walking distance of El...

This hotel is really lovely. Every room from the main courtyard to the lounge and hallways are beautifully restored. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. It's about 4 blocks from the main square in a quieter section of town. The Old City is very walkable. The staff was accommodating. We were there 2 nights and the second night,...

There may be some good rooms in this hotel, but we didn't get them. Very near the central Cuenca plaza on a Main Street, there are probably few rooms with views. Our rooms were small, some with no windows and therefore stuffy. The breakfast was basic. The staff was helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi was weak and inconsistent, like most small...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Is located in a pictorial colonial-style building, which takes us back to a time full of tradition and magnetism in Cuenca. Located in one of the most beautiful places of the Historical center, the most important attraction is the diversity of all elements spread in its common areas and the magnificent conservative details in its decoration, which provide a different personality to the hotel. ... more   less
