This is a business-oriented hotel, but it worked out really well for my brother and I last October -- and the breakfast buffet were better than anyplace else we stayed in Ecuador. The location on Gran Columbia puts it about 2-3 blocks from the central plaza.

we went to the bar ONLY. The drinks were tiny and the prices were outrageously high!!! Service was very poor and did not improve after complaints by us !!! The bar was empty and lacked any kind of atmosphere.

Great reception staff, helpful in anyway they can be. Free breakfast that is better than most hotel fare. Room attendants cleaned and made the beds and restocked the towels etc as one would expect. Wifi good. Will stay again.

Terrible place with very bad business practice, they advertise rooms that look like comfortable and new, but when you show up, they send you next door to The President to a room old as far as 30 years ago, with blankets that look very faded, a hole in the wall, terrible and more important they do not care to speak...

Location is good: city center. 5 min walk from must-see tourist attractions. Noisy during the day and very quiet at night. Breakfast is good except for the bread (it is terrible). Very friendly staff. Comfy beds! Had a very good time.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel at the downtown of Cuenca. The bedroom was confortable, and services were of very good quality (internet access, tv channels, bedbreakfast..); besides, the hotel staff were kind and gracious, I strongly recommend this hotel !

I had a lasagna dinner in this hotel. It was average at best. The pasta tasted as if it was several days old. The meat (hamburger) was plentiful but had a bitter taste. Maybe to much tomato sauce. Service as good.

Stayed here January 9th to 12th, 2016. We arrived early in the morning from Quito so our room was not ready but the front desk staff were very accommodating in taking our bags and securing them until we could actually get into our room. The staff spoke good English and were very polite and friendly. The room when we did...

Horrible facilities. The lobby, bar and restaurant area are ok, however as soon as you turn around the corner to take the lift upstairs you encounter dirty walls, a dirty elevator, poor taste in decoration, and oh the smell!!! The carpeted all around area smells, as soon as you get off the elevator the smell hits you, much worst inside...
