We recently stayed three nights. The hotel is really well located being only round the corner from the main square and other historical sites. The staff were very helpful and professional. We had a room overlooking the street but I am not sure whether other rooms would have access to natural daylight or look in to the central courtyard so...

I stayed three nights at the Hotel Carvallo, a very nice and centrally-located hotel in Cuena. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there because this renovated hotel was cozy, beautiful and had very friendly and helpful staff. My room, located on the second floor, was extremely quiet and comfortable. It had a double bed, two round night tables, a very pretty...

Had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated hotel with modern amenities. Rooms are quite spacious. Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet and in-room WIFI are included. The location couldn't be any better - 5 min walk to the Old Cathedral.

The staff was helpful and nice. One of my friends had to stay in the hotel because she was not feeling well and the staff was very concerned about her. The breakfast is good, the room was spacious but i think this should be a 3star hotel. The bathrooms were simple and laid back, the decoration was incoherent some nice...

Stayed here three nights as part of an organized tour. The hotel is well located right in the center of the historic area and close to the markets. The rooms are very clean. My room was rather small for the amount of furniture that was in it. The place to hang clothes was rather insufficient. The tub/shower was dangerously slippery...

This is a very nice hotel near the main square in the older part of Cuenca. The hotel staff speaks English and is very helpful. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet. It is close to the food market, the cathedral, and the flower market.

From booking to check out, we couldn't be happier! The rooms were charming yet updated, and the fresh breakfasts included surpassed our expectations. This was our first visit to Ecuador, and we are anxious to return (to the hotel and attentive staff, as well)!!! Great location!

I stayed here two nights and each night I was woken up throughout the night. One time, when I looked out my door to see what all of the noise was, I saw the person at the front desk just standing by while a large group of people back from the bars were hanging out in the lobby talking loudly....

I have been there many times because of my job, I would like to say the hotel is beautiful, and the attention is fantastic BAD THINGS There is not an elevator so many of my passengers are old people and if they are host on the third floor it is an inconvenient, the room 209 is always noisy, sounds as...

This is a nice, clean hotel. It is located in a very convenient location of the old town. We had a Room 104 which is near the rear on the first floor. The decor is a little weird but OK. The staff is very good and the breakfast pretty good. Tip...you can order eggs and bacon any way you want...
