This hotel is conveniently situated in the middle of Arequipa. It is an interesting arrangement for a hotel. On arrival the entrance, main courtyard and reception areas are ‘historical Spanish’ which works (the hotel is situated in the old mint works). The entrance to the hotel opens in to a very large internal courtyard off which is the bar and...

The location of this hotel makes walking out to attractions and places to eat a breeze. The hotel itself is very atmospheric although quiet around lunch and dinner. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Only negative is the hotel was the only one of our trip not to provide free bottles of water.

In the center of charming Arequipa a few steps away from the main historical attractions, shops and restaurant, although in a very quiet road. Ancient charming structure with a beautiful lounge and a patio area where you will be served an excellent cold and hot, international and local breakfast. Rooms are below expectation. Ask not to be on the small...

It was a nice experience to stay at this beautiful hotel, and it is true it looks like museum since it was constructed over an old house and most of it was preserved beautifully. It is close to the center of the city and to the Monastery, the best attraction in Arequipa.

Very comfortable bedrooms ( although ours was facing int a small courtyard) very quiet and with a spacious bathroom The Mansion building which houses the hotel is sympathetically restored and besides the lobby/hall also has a great restaurant with fine Peruvian dishes and excellent wine As we had a thunderstorm the day we arrived we decided to eat in the...

Of all the hotels where we stayed in Peru, this was by far our favourite...which was made even better by it being (far) from the most expensive. A large, beautiful historical site a few steps from (what we think is) Aréquipa's most intereting site, the Convent Santa Catalina. The rooms are large and modern, excellent beds and linen, sparkling clean...

The architecture of this place alone make the stay worthwhile. It's also conveniently located just off the main Plaza de Armas and has a great buffet breakfast which was included with our room. Unfortunately, my one complaint was the the wifi was not included for free in the rooms (only in the lobby). This struck me as "cheap" for such...

The hotel is a wonderful renovated old mansion, a real gem I would call it. With a wonderful hall, bar, reception, restaurant. It was no surprise that the rooms could not offer any view due its location, but they were quite spacious with big bathrooms and offered any kind of amenities and services. Also the breakfast buffet offered an excellent...

We recently stayed here 3 nights. This hotel is in a former mansion. We loved the beautiful stonework from the original building from the 1600s. The hotel is located close to the Playa des Armes and is just so close to major attractions, shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere, just so convenient. The staff are very helpful and our bedroom...

We stayed for two nights . Lovely lobby, bar and breakfast area. The modern room was a good size with a comfortable bed but had very little natural light ( only a small amount via a small rock garden outside our window) .As with other casa andina private collection hotels ( we have stayed at the one in sacred valley...
