There workers are not kind. I was sick but they didn't care about me. Manuel and another Peruvian blonde hair girl are very rude. The other workers from another countries are kind. Someone bought oxygen bottle for me. The bar in hostel, so if you're room is near the bar ,very noisy.

Staff is super friendly (both locals and volunteers) and the location is superb. I stayed before at Pariwana Lima and both had the same good quality. I stayed there for 4 days and had Cuzco as my jumping-off point for destinations like Machupichu. Dorms are big and comfy, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm and it was fine...only downside... More

I loved my stay in Pariwana Hostel! I had a great time here! Its clean, great location, great common areas and delicious breakfast buffet! Best I've had so far!!! Hi, so I originally planned 3 days in cusco and ended up staying over a month at pariwana hostel. The place is great but it is the people that really make the place great. In reception - Manuel, Sarita, Walter, Christian and Ricardo and anyone else Ive forgotten are very hard working and deserve all the good things in the... More

It is slightly pricier than other options but it was worth the money. +Location of the place is very good and is a short walk to the main sites -Breakfast... More

Two 30-something-yo Americans traveling through Peru and Chile for just under three weeks. Booked at Pariwana for our Cusco stay. Excellent location and great staff. Overall, the average age of those reserving space is younger, and the space sometimes resembles a college dormitory in terms of its vibe. There are numerous activities planned for various evenings of the week to... More

I had a pleasant stay at the Pariwana Hostel! Breakfast is really good, staff is friendly and Danny (the security guy) was very helpful and helped me out a lot! I can recommend this hostel. There are a lot of partys going on, they show football matches and the atmosphere is cool. You can relax here or have a few... More

To be honest, we may sound like old grumpy travellers... But this place, OMG. The Peruvian experience ended at security check-in, which, by the way, is like entering a prison camp. We cannot believe it has such a high rating. If you come to Peru and just want an extension of your local Wetherspoon/ Tiger Tiger, this is your place.... More

Love this place, although we had our Machu Picchu trek all sorted before hand, the info and service being provided looked very good to fellow travellers. The beds were large and comfy. The only thing with the sleep/room was the bathroom fan is constantly on and if you're unlucky enough to share with idiots, they'll leave the bathroom door open... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pariwana Hostel Cusco lies in a colonial house built in the 16th century. The beauty of our hostel can be compared to any 5-star hotel in the city of Cusco, but with the atmosphere and vibe of our guests and the Pariwana experience. The house has an internal patio surrounded by stone archways in both the first floor and in the balconies of the second floor. Our restaurant and bar-lounge are located in the same salons where Viceroys used to dine with the local nobility. It is said that there is a secret passage between the house and the closest convent. Supposedly, it was built by the last Viceroy, Abascal, as he new his days were counted. Pariwana Cusco is located in the heart of Cuzco’s Historical District: only 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The hostel is surrounded by the typical Cuzco architecture and scenery. It is nearby several restaurants, drugstores and transportation facilities. ... more   less
