We loved this hotel in Cusco. It's on a busy street, but once you get inside the front door, it's like you're in your own little world. Rooms feel spacious and are built around a courtyard. The staff was particularly helpful to us. We stayed in three different places before, between, and after our treks. This was our favorite!

Room is cold at night, and this was in June. Portable heater not given unless you know to request it. Showers were cold at times. Internet in rooms not good. Short walk to the middle of town. Breakfast is good.

Really a great hotel in Cuzco. It is close to the old city, and it is very quiet. The staff at the reception, the cleaning team and at the kitchen (only serves breakfast) are very kind and helpful. We got lots of coca tea. We enjoyed to eat at Don Carlos, a short walk from Apu Huascarán. The shower door... More

We stayed twice for 4 nights in total, 3 before visiting Machu Picchu and one after. The rooms we had were clean and roomy, we were able to leave our luggage there in storage when we were away for a couple of nights and found it already in our room on our return. Wifi good, hot water a little intermittent... More

Our stay in this hotel has been very pleasant. We stayed two times 2 days ( before and after visiting Machu Pichu. The location in the relaxed part of Cusco, San Blas, is very good. Our luggage during the Machu Pichu visit could stay in the hotel. Staff collected it from our room so that we did not have to... More

We stayed here 4 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was always friendly and accommodating to our requests. We stayed on the third floor that is the most quiet part of the hotel - all rooms (except for the third floor) look into the central patio where people gather for tea or with their tour guides.... We stayed for 6 nights in June/July and over all were not impressed. The rooms were ok but very cold, the free breakfast was not that good and the exact same every day. The worst part was the guy at the front desk was very dishonest and ordered us the most dangerous/over priced taxi ever. We watched the taxi driver... More

Location is great - only a few blocks from plaza d'Armas. It's fairly clean and staff were very pleasant to deal with. On a busy street with lots of honking; walls and floors seem very thin. Ask for a room away from street. Hot water was an issue most of the time - we stayed 4 nights.. most of the... More

Hostal is very nice, close to the maistreets, goog neighborhood. But, our shower hasn't been cleaned up for 4 days. the hairs of the previous guests were still there... And ours on top of it. Decent hotel, nice rooms, okay breakfast. Location is very nice and also design is nice. In the colder months, rooms are also very cold. Our shower cabin was also leaking making quite a wet mess. Overall a good choice due to the location and nice design.
