When they describe themselves as a boutique hotel, they are giving you the absolute perfect description of themselves. I have stayed in my share of palace and boutique hotels in India and abroad but this one has far surpassed all the others by a long mile. We arrived at the hotel by about 1130 and the normal check in time...

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The ambience in an old mansion in the heart of old Cusco was elegant. We stayed in different rooms having checked out to go to the sacred valley and Machu Picchu. The king size room was definitely larger and more luxurious than...

This is a lovely hotel. Filled with antiques, very well appointed if slightly smallish rooms, comfortable beds, excellent restaurant. But the big draw for us was the staff. Professional, responsive, cheerful, accommodating. They were excellent and worthy of high praise. We loved staying here and recommend it highly. P Buckner

We stayed at Aranwa last week during a tour of Peru. The hotel is very quaint and interesting being located in a 17th century colonial mansion. The room was gorgeous with a new updated bathroom (complete with heated granite floors!). The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a view of the courtyard. Stayed at the Aranwa on a recent trip to see Machu Picchu. A very comfortable stay an historically interesting environment. A fascinating mix of Spanish colonial and Inca influences. Very atmospheric with excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you especially by trying to make your visit at altitude bearable with coca tea. The room we stayed in was very...
