The only good things about this place were the wifi connection and the rooftop bar.l which had a lovely view and cheap drinks. The wifi was the best I have come across in South America. The worker in the hostel was kind enough to book us a taxi and help us take our luggage all the way down to the... More

We had an interesting stay at this hostel, it's hard to rate as some aspects were great (the friendliness and helpfulness of the señora at the desk) and others not so great (quality of rooms).. + wifi works reasonably well throughout hostel and rooms - Power points are pretty dodgy and faulty, need to jiggle charger to find the sweet... I loved cusco! And in part because I had a great experience at the San Blas Hostel! This hotel is only 4 blocks from the main plaza where the bars/nightclubs and restaurants are. The hotel is cozy, charming and clean. Did I say it is super quiet there...a little cold...since there are no heaters in the winter. The rooms were... More

We made the reservation quite late for Cuzco at New Years Eve and there was not much to choose from. The nice thing of this hostel was that they let us in at 06:00 am and let us sleep somewhere even if the usual check in is later, somewhen in the afternoon. But we had to pay immediately when we... First, we booked online and some how Harry, the owner (with a B.A. degree in tourism prominently featured in the front lobby), who owns and runs not only the hostel but also a tour company, lost our reservation. He tried to charge us three times what our agreed price was online. We refused and he conceded. Second, the communal bathrooms... More

This hostel is located very close to the main plaza in Cuzco, in the epicenter of everything, and at the same time in a quaint street, quiet and clean. Very nice hostel, within anyones budget with a nice breakfast included....nice room with twin beds and private bathroom, clean and decent. The reception staff is great. They arranged the tours for... I would really like to thank the effectiveness of San Blas of the staff, always helping on finding solutions, on advising you the best things to do according to your interests. The hostel is 5 minutes walk from the center of Cuzco, with an incredible view over the city. The room (triple with own bathroom) was basical but confortable, the... More
