We ended up staying three nights at the Marriott, due to a strike that closed roads and trains for several days. After a lot of travel in very rural areas in Peru, the Marriott seemed unbelievably luxurious. The property is very beautiful and comfortable. The courtyard is amazing, although wasn't being used much when we were there. Food and drink...

We stayed here after our Salkantay trek and there was no place I would have rather stayed than the J.W. after being outside camping for 4 days. The hotel itself is gorgeous, as they have compiled restored buildings from the area into a great building but the rooms were very luxurious in comparison to other hotels in the Cusco area...

After a week in this hotel I did not want to leave. They did a beautiful job building the hotel into the 16th century monastery. My room had one of the original block walls integrated into the bedroom, which is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, right beside the Plaza de Armas - the older...

Converted from a colonial era convent, this is a prefect place to stay in Cusco. Excellent service, beautiful rooms - compete with oxygen monitoring and supplementation as needed for altitude sickness, and a couple blocks walk from the main square combine to make this a great place to stay. Excellent and varied breakfast is included. Building and grounds tour is...

One of the most beautifully restored properties converted into a hotel I've ever seen. It reminds me the posadores in Spain where old properties such as castles are converted into hotels. From the moment you step in it's a first class experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. Only minor issue was the early morning breakfast buffet which seemed a...

This is an excellent hotel as a base to see the many attractions of Cusco. We particularly liked the public areas which are well designed. The central courtyard is beautiful. We stayed in two rooms as we had a trip to Machu Pichu. The first was on the road. I liked the view of the street Cusco roofs and the...

Just returned from 12 days in Peru. We spent 2 nights at the Marriott before our trek. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the terrace. There was an event in the courtyard below but we always use a whitenoise app on our phone so we weren't disturbed by it. Terrific service, food, & room.

From check-in to check-out 3 days later, we felt very well-taken care of here. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful and helpful staff. Our room was in the lower level, which was fine (except that the elevator was not working and I would have preferred some options!). Otherwise the room was beautiful.. calm and quite with oxygen piped in. The...

The hotel is very well located in Cusco... Close to the main square, to lots of restaurants, shops and churches. The rooms with balconies on the interior courtyard are very lovely but there is nightly music (at least when we were there) and it was quite loud. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have stayed at the Belmond...
