The service is very friendly. This is a super small place. The room we had was nice but the bathroom is super small. The problem is the wifi - which is basically none existend. We prefer Antigua Casona San Blas which has roughly the same price when we were there but is in a different leauge.

We had the family suite for two nights. We booked our room based on a colleague's recommendation to my husband. The absolute #1 thing going for the property is its fabulous location on Calle Suecia. It's just steps to the Plaza and the major sites of Cusco. That said, upon booking, the manager reached out via email. We explained that...

We stayed a couple of nights in this cute little hotel and we loved it. We discovered it online and what a pleasant surprise it was. The service was great, the decoration was quaint and the fare included a wholesome breakfast and the airport ride. It is 5 minutes away from the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) in a quiet...

It is hard to convey just how lovely Rumi Wasi is! From the street, it appears as a wall with a door, but open that door, and you are transported to a different time and place in a 500 year old building! On our arrival, our room was lit with candles and scented with aromatherapy. Later hot water bottle were...

We stayed for 3 nights in the suite room with the private terrace over New Year's. The room: we paid a discounted amount through a travel website, but in reflection we feel like the price did not match was we received. Breakfast delivered to our room is great! We loved eating it on terrace as we looked out on the...

Rumi Wasi is a cute little place on a hillside (as most everything is), not far from Plaza de Armas where we had lunch and caught a bus tour. We were a family group and had 3 rooms - each one having its own identity with pottery artwork displayed in special cases. I was only there overnight so didn’t really...

From the minute they opened the door to us we were greeted with the utmost friendliness and felt so welcomed. We were overwhelmed with the constant cleanly care and attentiveness to every detail. From the daily clean sheets in our room to the enjoyable breakfasts served at our convenience...down to the amazing fleece-covered hot water bottles delivered nightly to our...

This hotel experience is by far the best one I've ever had in South America. The hotel is a very small and cozy hotel located just a couple of blocks from La Plaza De Armas. We arrived at 04.30:Am from Puno and got a early check-in for free and got to sleep for a couple of hours. The staff are...

We stayed at Rumi Wasi 3 nights and it was GREAT! This place is close to the center of Cusco - you can see it in the terrace and upper balcony - BREATH TAKING VIEW day or night! Not to mention, the hotel has a remains of Inca wall!!! The rooms were very clean (spotless!!!), the personal was very polite,...

We stayed here twice before and after the Inka trail. Very nice hotel, just like the pictures. We were very early before check in but our room was still ready. They gave us a paper bag breakfast prior to the inka trail at 4:30am which was nice. Water bottles for the foot of the bed every night was a very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rumi Wasi (House of Stone) is a house with a colonial style built in the XVI century by Spanish conquerors and erected over Inca's terraces. The property was then bought by the San Roman-Vucetich family. Once the restoration was finished and after contemplating how beautiful it had been done, The San Roman-Vucetich family decided to share the warmth of its installations with Cusco visitors. Thus, we are waiting for you to enjoy a nice and comfortable atmosphere enriched for its architectural beauty, privileged view, history and tranquility. ... more   less
