We stayed at the Tampu Inn (hotel), in September as part of our G Adventures Tour package, and found this hotel to be in a great location if you wanted to wander around the central square, shopping areas, and great restaurants. The staff were helpful, and there was a good selection at the breakfast buffet (no toaster though). The rooms... More

We stayed here in June for around 10 days and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Ignore the reviews who say staff are not friendly. We actually found many of the guests to be anti social or just rude. Not sure why this is, I can only guess it must be the altitude ! Good selection... More

Is the first bad review that I write about a hotel after 20 years of traveling. Bad personal service, rooms very frezy, without phone and room service, bad wifi signal, etc. I don't recomend this hotel to my friends.

We have been in Cusco for five days and had the most amazing experience in this city. Regarding the hotel, everything was perfect. Great location, walking distance to all the must-to-see. It is very cozy, nice, clean and comfortable. Everybody was so willing to help us with information of what to eat, where to go and what else to do,... More

I liked this hotel - I found the bed comfy, the room cosy, the staff helpful and friendly and the bathroom good. The hotel is less than 5 minutes to the Plaza de Armas - the historical centre - about 2 minutes from the sun temple Qorikancha, and well located for shops and the local markets (one touristy/artisanal, the other... I was able to meet the owner of the hotel, his name was Claudio. We stayed here 2 nights. Once going to Machu Picchu and once returning. Both times my family was greeted with large smiles and a warm welcome. The rooms are clean and the showers are new. ( hot water takes some time to get if you are... More

It's a beautiful little hotel located just 3 blocks away from the main plaza and within walking distance of Cusco's main attractions. Rooms have been recently renovated and the hotel's decoration is really nice! It uses the same colours as those in traditional Andean textiles. The staff and service were great. The receptionist offered to book tours for us upon... More

A friend set us up at this hotel rather last minute during a business trip. Fantastic tip for us. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and Inka attractions, and had reliable wifi in room and within the lobby. The hotel is small, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a bit tight on space but... More

I was under the impression that this was a three star hotel and was very disappointed when I got to the room. It is by NO means a three star hotel by US standards. The bathroom was very old with dingy peeling wallpaper and a shabby shower curtain. The room was quite spacious but had old carpets and the linens/bed cover... More

The staff at Hotel Cristina are very friendly and helpful to some extend. The room itself was very depressing, mainly because it had no window to the outside, it only opened in a hallway, which made me very claustrophobic! I did request another room, and was promised that it will be looked into, but nothing happened. Also, for some strange... More
