El Balcon is a great place to stay in Cusco! My wife and I stayed here on our way to Machu Picchu. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The view of Cusco was spectacular. The location was within walking distance of the central square. I highly recommend this place for visitors of Cusco.

What a fantastic hotel! You really feel 'at home' there! Such a great little garden, beautifully decorated rooms (so glad that they were in 'Cusco style' and not 'contemporary / modern'), fantastic breakfast (best pancakes ever!, delicious homemade Granola, very good coffee - and it's all organic!), nice & helpful people! Kudos to the housekeeping team : it was so...

I absolutely loved my stay at El Balcon. It's a quaint little oasis in the heart of Cusco. My room was cosy, warm and super comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!!

I can't recommend El Balcon highly enough. It's beautifully appointed, both in the bedrooms and public areas, with a lovely breakfast room/informal restaurant - but what really stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and when I returned for a final night after my trip to Machu Picchu, it felt like coming...

El Balcon is a good place. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable front desk staff.Good location, lots of character Decent breakfast (I am sure that quite a few people would disagree with me on this score. But I am not very demanding when it comes to food). The only drawback really is a common court yard. It is very beautiful, but one...

Lovely, quieter location a short walk from the main square in Cusco, yet still central enough. The 17th century house has bags of charm, with the outstanding feature being a generous upper floor balcony linking many of the rooms (giving the hotel its name). Rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, with complimentary bottled water and without TVs, adding to the...

We stayed at El Balcon for 4 nights. We had only booked two but liked it so much we returned for 2 more. The staff were very helpful in booking a trip to Rainbow Mountain. The breakfast was great. We had dinner there one night. The eating area was separate and had a cozy fireplace. You could order beer and...

Would definitely recommend el balcon. It's within walking distance of everything and the hotel has a nice view over the city. Moreover, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are characteristic. The staff is helpful and friendly too. Ideal for a trip combining the inca trail. Make sure you don't mind walking up a few steps, because of the location.

Nice people in a beatifull antique house. Ask for tours information at the lobby :). Well located. You only have to walk a couple blocks to get to Plaza de Armas. Cuzco's people is amazingly friendly, and the hotel staff is not the exception, they make you feel very welcome.

We had a good experience at El Balcon and their sister property in Ollantaytambo. Julia, in particular, was highly responsive and was a tremendous help to me and my family when organizing our trip. The condition of the property in Cusco is OK...clean, but carpets are stained, bathrooms need updating, but are completely functional, location is excellent, and staff people...
