Never Stayed At A Hostal & Was Quite Pleased. The Owners Miguel & His Wife & 2 Kids Where Like Family. Anything Needed From Day Trips, Taxis & Restaurant Information Miguel Helped Out Tremendously. They Have 2 Helpers Who Welcomed You Every Morning With Tea Or Coffee & Fresh Made Breakfast. The Room We Had Was Clean & Cozy &...

While I the taxi ride there makes it seem like this hostel is a trek from the centre of town, it's actually just up the hill. The view from the terrace and the bedrooms is beautiful and well worth the hill climb. Miguel and his family (including 2 little boys and dog Tito) are so welcoming and helpful, and even...

Only stayed one night here, as my other hotel nearby was full one night. I found the place cozy, great views, lobby restaurant and bar and the manager was wonderful. He, Miguel, speaks excellent English. Very nice views from the outside deck. Can be a bit noisy if your room abuts the lobby, but it quieted down fairly early. Would...

What a fabulous place to stay in Cusco! Wara Wara sits at the top of a steep alley called Resbalosa: 'slippery' in Spanish. Don't rush it, enjoy the climb, all the curious little features, and then rest on the hostel's balcony and enjoy the magnificent vista over Cusco. Miguel, Viviana and their boys share their calm home with you in...

We had a great stay! The hosts went above and beyond for us and always had a tip or suggestion for things to do in Cusco. We will definitely be back to the beautiful city of Cusco and when we do we will be happy to stay at hostal wara wara again!

This is a small place run by a young family. Here are things that some people will not like, that did not bother me in the slightest: there are two young children, including a baby who cries a fair amount. It is set up over the town by three blocks which is great for the view but you need to...

We stayed in Wara Wara for two nights. I only wish, we have booked this place for longer stay. Returning from physically demanding treks to Wara Wara was like coming back home. Friendly proprietors, fantastic view from balcony and absolutely great choice of music for those evenings that you can curl up on a couch with glass of whisky in...

We spend one night before going to Machu Picchu and two nights afterwards. The hotel is in the San Cristobal area, and benefits from a beautiful city view, including a perfect view on the Plaza de Armas from the lobby terrace. However, the hotel is on the city heights, it is only 5 minutes from the Plaza de Armas but...

This was the friendliest place we've stayed at in Peru. Miguel and his wife offered dinner to guests. It was excellent. The common areas are good for mixing with other guests. Clean and basic accommodations. Not far from the central plaza though it is a steep walk.

From the moment I arrived, the hostel owners made me feel at home. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Also, (for an extra cost) you can experience a Peruvian dinner. The views from the lobby are stunning, and it is a short walk to the Plaza de Armas. They accept U.S dollars as well as soles as payment (as well...
