Hostal Cusi Wasi helped me so much while trying to plan my trip to Peru from China, it wasn't easy to get information and they where able to give great advise and help me to organise our trip to Machu Picchu, they even phoned airlines for me to try and find out about visas etc. The hostal itself wasn't the...

we stayed there 7 or 8 nights before and after the machu pichu hike and were happy. staff was friendly and helpful and it's a big plus that there is a kitchen which everybody can use. some rooms were a bit small but the court yard has a roof and invites to hang out even when it rains. sound travels...

This tiny little hostal is so pretty; three floors of artwork and potted plants. The staff is very accommodating, and comfy chairs await visitors in the courtyard. Complimentary tea service is available 24 hours a day, and the wireless service is good. The rooms are small, but well appointed with thick blankets against the evening chill. While we were there,...

Stayed there twice. They have tiny rooms with no windows (only to thecourtyard) and bigger rooms with windows to the street, so make sure you get oneof thebigger ones, they also look nicer. Friendly stuff, also english speaking. I would go there again.

The hotel was nice and we didn't have any problem (hot water, wireless, noise - it was all ok). But, despite the fact that the hotel was only 5 blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, they were 5 large blocks; you`d go really downhill (the way back late at night wasn't pleasure at all, especially with the thin air...

Ok, booked this on the recommendations from tripadvisor - which are normally pretty reliable! First night, room very noisy as right beside reception and anybody, staff or guests. arriving, leaving or just wandering around passes the room, which has absolutely no soundproofing. Second night asked to move, and they were very helpful in getting us moved...but it made little difference!...

The reviews of our hostel are the genuine opinions of our guests. We manipulate or influence these opinions in no way so this particular review comes as a surprise. During the time this guest stayed in our hostel we also had a group of Argentinians who unfortunately behaved very loudly, especially when they came back inebriated from a night out....

Excellent Hostal and very affordable. The rooms are clean and confortables, warm and secure. Hot water 24/7 and the staff super friendly, always willing to take one more step in order to make you feel like home. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

We were met at the airport as scheduled. Cusi Wasi could mean worry free, as they took care of everything. We had train tickets to Machu Picchu, but were having problems getting return tickets. Not a problem, Cusi Wasi got them for us. We saw a five-hour bus tour of Cusco we wanted and the bus was picking us up...

This hostel was clean and cute. The rooms were comfortable and the heater was truly appreciated. A really cool thing about this hostel is the tour company that operates from it as well. I made our booking on Instant World Booking and then I realised i could book all our tours in both Cusco and Puno. Bianca from Cusi Wasi...
