Thank you to Dennis, Robinson and the staff at Casa San Blas. Excellent site for walking to the plaza past the 12 cornered stone. The rooms are clean and cozy. Every evening a hot water bottle was placed at the foot of our bed to warm the sheets a bit. This was certainly welcome after climbing at Machu Picchu the day...

Beautiful place with incredibly attentive staff. Robinson and Dennis were extremely helpful. It is located in a charming street within walking distance from the local attractions. Breakfast is included and there is a restaurant downstairs you can order food from.

The Casa San Blas, situated almost at the top of a narrow street in Cusco is well located for access to shops and the main attractions. It is very charming and their staff (Karen, Lizbeth and Dennis) are helpful and obliging. Breakfasts were good – they provided eggs to order, a departure from the pre-cooked scrambled eggs in many hotels....

The staff were warm and friendly. Our group liked the location as it was easy to find in the maze of narrow streets! The rooms were cozy and clean. A staff member was very attentive to the person in our group who needed oxygen for the altitude. We would all come back here to stay!

Stayed in this friendly quirky boutique hotel for two nights at beginning and end of Machu Picchu tour. Excellent location, only few hundred meters from main square Cusco, located in incredible steep and tight alley ways, which gives this characterful hotel something extra. Spacious rooms, well equipped to spent comfortable night, with extra service of hot water bottles for turn...

Several problems beset our party after arrival. This is a popular hotel for adventure tourists. It is located in the heart of Cusco in the San Blas area, close to the main plaza and several key historic sites. CSBB is a clean, comfortable, hotel with a nice restaurant. The walls are thin, but they do make a point of posting that Quiet Time is 10pm-7am, and I...

This is one of the coziest hotels I've ever stayed in. Right away I was offered a complimentary cup of cocoa leaf tea to help with any altitude problems. The staff Karen, Lizbeth, Javier and Robinzon were on duty and ready to assist me. The room was very clean, the shower was hot, a white terry cloth robe awaited me,...

The walk from the Plaza de Armas is lovely, but the climb is not for the faint hearted. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is very friendly. Central location from which San Blas and the Plaza de Armas can be easily reached. Good value for money.

We stayed here 3 nights, 2 in a matrimonial room, better known as a king room, on the ground floor and 1 night in a room with two double beds on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure how much we paid for it since it was part of a Peru for Less package but it's classed as a 3*. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa San Blas is the first Boutique Hotel in Peru since 2003. Our cozy and intimate colonial house located in San Blas mingles the comfort and luxury with the customized service so you feel as home. Our philosophy in Casa San Blas, moreover, is that our guests have a real contact and experience with our traditions and knowledge. Thus, our guests admire elements of Peruvian culture such as traditionally hand-made weavings which are showcased throughout all our rooms and halls. We have also built a terrace balcony on the third floor to allow great views of the city of Cusco both day and night. ... more   less
