Perfect hidden retreat in a busy city. The hosts welcomed us with open arms after a very long trek along the Inca Trail! Exhausted, starving and needing a shower badly, the owner went out of her way to make us grilled cheeses so we didn't have to go to bed hungry. In the morning our breakfast was perfect! The owner...

This was the most amazing place. A beautiful house, beautiful gardens and an excellent staff. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room accommodating our schedule each day, from 11 am when we arrived, to 4:30 am on the day we left for Macchu Picchu. The owners became like family to us. They told us about the history of...

We stayed at Gardenhouse towards the last leg of our 3 weeks journey in South America. In total we stayed there for 4 nights and we had left our luggage with them whilst we trekked on Machu Picchu for a few days. We highly recommend a stay at Gardenhouse because: 1. We found that the accommodation in downtown area very...

My friends and I stayed over in the Garden House last October 2011 after our excursion to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. The property itself is absolutely lovely and cozy with a variety of rooms that...

My young daughter and I stayed in the Garden House on April 9th and 12th for two days before and after our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu trip. The owners, Doris and Ceci, were the warmest and most caring hostesses that I have ever met. They really took care of us. The breakfasts were sumptuous, including fruit salad, orange juice,...

We were so glad that our daughter-in-law found The Garden House for our lodging while in Cusco. Doris and Ceci, our hosts, sent a van to pick us up at the airport, counselled us on how to reduce the effects of altitude, arranged in advance for our tours of The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, recommended restaurants, and engaged us...

when i first saw this hotel, i was amazed by the beautiful gardens and the great big bedrooms in it. it is a home outside of town, so that was its biggest drawback. BUT, the hostess were so warm and nice that it was totally worth the distance. I got sick with a cold right after my hike to machu...
