I had a good stay here. The rooms are large but a bit old fashioned, the included breakfast is good for the type of hotel. There's free wifi and the staff is kind. It is a bit far from Plaza de Armas (downtown) but the 15 min walk is pleasant. The main complaint i have is that the showers are...

The hostel is clean and simple but quite cold. During my stay there were only Korean people - a lot! I felt a bit outsider. The breakfast is yoghurt with muesli and a few bread with jam & butter. The kitchen is ok but small. Generally there is not that much room in common areas.

I've stayed at El Puma a couple of times, and each visit was pleasant. The hotel is located a few blocks off the main square - a cheap taxi ride or short, careful (due to the altitude) walk away. It's close enough for convenience, but far enough away to avoid some of the hustle and bustle. The rooms are very...

The hotel is clean but dated. The lobby is modern, but the rooms are small. The table light did not work and the water pressure wasn't great. Stayed two different times on a tour and have to say I preferred the room on the front as opposed to a center room. The hotel was loud. While the staff is nice,...

I had the misfortune of being placed on a floor with a group of teenagers who were screaming and running through the halls late into the night; the staff did nothing about this, even after I called and complained. The rooms themselves are small and clean, but privacy is noticeably lacking. As others have said, the walls seem to be...

This hotel is conveniently located, it is clean, inexpensive and has a simple but great breakfast buffet! Coca leaves are always on the table to make a fresh cup of tea at all times and their coffee is just to die for! I usually use my personal toiletry so I was not bothered by their minimalist approach! I am quite...

The walls in this hotel are paper thin. You can hear every word from the entire floor and floors below because of the open air atrium (we are on the 5th floor). After traveling for 20 hours with no sleep our first priority upon arrival was to nap, which was impossible with people talking in the hallway and the neighbors...

We were booked here as part of a tour. They have the sign to "hang up your towel" if you want to use it again and save the world. The problem is, there was no place to hang it. Nowhere to store fresh linens. Half of the shower door was missing, but it obviously wasn't designed that way. The shower...

We stayed here as part of a group tour. A lot of the rooms are internal, and a bit dated, and our first room had a window each side, both of which looked on to a different well. Because other rooms could see into our room, we kept the curtains closed, so it was very dark. Mother next morning we...

Perhaps I have reached an age where I like to be delighted by the hotels I stay in. And perhaps I have had some great experiences in my travelling life, but the hotel Puma was really quite grim. The decor tired, and brown, the taps in the bathroom had a mind of their own and the water pressure would get...
