As a hostal is a good place to stay for only one night, breakfast is included but is only bread and coffee. Night activities are not fun, and alcohol is pricy compared to other places nearby. However, turisism information is relyable and well organized. Many people come and go, it easy to meet friends from all over the world and...

It's a hostel but to be honest is a budget hotel. We had every day clean towels, service room really good and it's located in a nice and cozy suburb of Cusco, called San Blas, pretty close of the city centre really secure to walk any time.

Pretty much the only good thing about this hostel is the location. Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian alley of San Blass. However the place completely lacks atmosphere, the locks on the shower/toilet doors do not work. There is hot water in the 'suicide shower' but only if you turn on the hot water just a little bit. WiFi doesn't...

We stayed here for couple of nights because our preferred hostels were fully booked. Our first night there the night receptionist checked people into our room at 5 am. Just strolled in, turned on the light and started chatting away giving the new guests the run down of the hostel like there wasn't 4 people asleep in the room. Obviously...

Good evening, and thank you for your review of Pirwa San Blas. We regret that your night was interrupted by the receptionist bringing in new guests- we will ask him to be more considerate of those guests already sleeping in the shared dorms in the event that we receive other guests arriving at late or early hours. We haven’t seen...

Stayed for two nights before and after a trek to Machu Picchu. The staff were helpful and let us leave our bags during the trek. The rooms weren't the cleanest however, but it was generally good value for money

Good afternoon Nick, and thank you so much for your review of Pirwa San Blas. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in general, but were concerned to hear that you felt cleanliness was lacking. We are in the process of meeting with our staff to enforce standards and rectify this. Thank you for your feedback, and happy travels!

I stayed here for two nights in low season, i had the dorm and hostel to myself :) but i can tell the hostel provides a great atmosphere with their common area that has a pool table and bar. Clean rooms, clean bathroom. Staff is very friendly as well :)

Good morning Daytona, and thank you so much for giving us a review. December is indeed part of the low season for Cusco, since it’s during the rainy season, but we’re glad that you enjoyed your stay despite the relatively lower amount of guests, and we hope that you had a wonderful trip!

We spend there 5 nights in total in a double room with private bathroom. No views - as the window overlooks inner patio (at least in our room). Quality of services was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included but do not count on much.

Good morning, and thank you for sharing your opinion of Pirwa San Blas. We're thrilled that you found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast is indeed basic (local bread, butter, jam, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea), but we think it is good for travelers on a budget. We're also glad that you liked the room despite the...

I recommend people to stay there. There is always a great and lively atmosphere, with big secure lockers, individual sockets by the bedside and good wifi. I wish I could have spent more time in Cusco. The rooms are clean, and it was easy to meeting other travellers especially if you are travelling solo like me. The hostel have a...

If you want to stay nearby the historic center, plus having some calm at nights this place is perfect for you; located in San Blas Neighborhood it offers a decent place to past the night, but the environment is more oriented to families or people who dont really look for meeting new people. The breakfast is included but is pretty...
