Nice place, close to the town the people is amazing and kind. It has all the commodities and services. Is a recommended place to stay in Iquitos. Located in a very secure place close for all. Ig has its own port because behind the hotel is the Itaya river

i just recently stayed at the Shamana hotel for 3 nights and am so happy with my stay there. I wanted to stay at the La Casona originally which was a few blocks down but they were fully booked. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason so I wound up at Shamana. When i first arrived I was greeted... More

Shamana presents a breathtaking view of life in Iquitos....both on the river and the streets. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beware of breakfast though....it is the same EVERY SINGLE DAY.... Good location...maybe not for persons on business..perfect for the tourist as it affords every experience in close proximity.

However, not all of the rooms had... More
