My partner and I had a fantastic time on our 3day 2night stay at Sinchicuy lodge. When we arrived at the lodge we were amazed by how beautiful it looked. The rooms were of course very basic, with electricity only for a couple of hours in the morning and in the night but you don't spend much time in the...

Brought friends to Sinchicuy for their first and my third time. They were satisfied but 3 times here was probably one too many for me, although I finally saw the elusive pink dolphin. Recommend the 3 days, 2 nights package for first time visitors and one or 2 days in Iquitos (stay at the Epoca hotel). Sinchicuy Lodge is a...

My husband and I just spent 2 nights and 3 days at Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge. We were already aware that there was no electricity, only had basic generator that was only turned "on" for two hours in the morning and two hours at night, and no air conditioning. I took my small battery operated fan with me but nights were...

Visited sinchicuy lodge for 3 nights with a mate and surprisingly we made up 2/3 of guests at the lodge - there was only 3 guests in the ENTIRE LODGE. This made the place feel deserted. Apart from this, it was everything you would expect from an eco lodge; limited amenities, cold showers, little to no electricity etc. Food Was...

Staffs are very helpful, our private guide Jorge is amazing...keep us busy all the time....unforgettable experience was when our boat was surrounded by pink and grey dolphins in all sides of our boat in The Amazon River on our way to Yanayacu with our guide and staffs of Sinchicuy Lodge.

Have been there twice and planning another trip in December 2015. Our family, especially our children enjoy the magic of the ecotourism. Every time we go to PERU they request this trip to Iquitos. It is magical encounter of human and nature.

We travelled here in July 2015, grandparents, parents (me + husband) and three kids (ages 6, 4 and 2). It was definately an experience never to forget, but more in the negative way somehow. I am surprised we suffered this much from our stay here, because I consider ourselves to be brave travelers, not needing heaps of luxury to be...

We recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at this Great Rustic Eco Lodge in the Amazon. It is very rustic with little or no amenities but an excellent adventure and a way to unwind and unplug. Shower has only cold water from the river but very refreshing after the day's activities and removal of Bug Repellant. We suggest bringing...

This is a very basic lodge in a very nice place. I will start by listing out the good things about the lodge. The food was really really good and so was the maracuya and pisco sour. The people running the lodge are very nice people and are very understanding. You will have electricity for for a while so that...

Remember that this is an eco lodge when you book it. Not air conditioning, basic generator electricity kept to a minimum, gas lamps in the rooms, no heated water for showering. Bring lots of insect repellent. The food is collected locally so expect repetition with what's on season. Lovely little lodge in the middle of no where. In rainy season...

“all rooms cost the same and are close together so no helpful tips....However, if you happen to be in a "grouping" (4 rooms with same roof) with loud people, you can ask to be moved and they are as accommodating as possible”
