Comfortable rooms and great facilities throughout. Secure building that felt homely and charming. Various instruments on offer and enough books and DVDs to stay for months. Good location to see various districts of Lima. Francis (the owner) was such a warm and friendly host, really making our stay one of the best we've had, he was extremely helpful and told...

I have many good things to say about Miraflores House: it's very secure, it has hot showers, friendly staff, a clean kitchen with lots of space in the fridge and other appliances to use to make your own meals (there's a supermarket very close), a water filter, also very close to the best ice cream place in Lima and it's...

The gentleman who knows this place, Francis is VERY nice & friendly. All the staff were. There's cool knick knacks all around the place which I loved. There's a complimentary breakfast in the mornings (coffee, tea, bread, jam, butter, ham & cheese sandwiches). We met a bunch of interesting people from all over too. It was secure from the outside,...

We could not have had a better 3 night stay at Miraflores House! Francis and his staff were the highlight. They were extremely nice and helpful. Francis even woke up extra early one morning (6:00 am) to make myself and my friends tamales before we left for PeruHop. The hostel was very clean and secure. We were very comfortable there...

The good - Showers were hot and the water pressure was great. Beds were comfortable. Very secure facility, Francis was very helpful and friendly. The hostel has an ozone water purifier which was very nice and helpful for the day trips. The breakfast was also above average with Francis making small ham/chz sandwiches instead of the typical bread/jam combo offered...

So I'll start with the good points: This place is secure (from outside) and is in a great area of Lima. The hostel owner is a nice guy and will help you out if you have any questions. The wifi is really good and the showers are hot enough (if you want them to be). All rooms also have cable...

Francis was very accommodating and friendly. He made available his personal computer for me to reserve my airline flight. the breakfast is good and the kitchen is available to use for cooking if you like to do that sort of thing. The breakfast and hang out area is very comfortable and has guitars, bass and electric piano to play, my...

Francis, the owner, is an excellent host and took the time to show us the locations of restaurants and how to get around the city helping us make the most of our time in Lima. Location is excellent right in the heart of Miraflores and a fifteen minute walk from the ocean. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms were dark but...

This is probably one of the better hostels I've stayed in in terms of helpfulness. The owner is quite awesome and the rooms are interesting to look at. It is very safe here, too. We felt secure, and the owner could point out great places to eat and ways to get around.

All hostels have pros and cons. The Pros. Friendly staff and an outgoing helpful owner. Clean well equipped kitchen. Thick fluffy towels changed daily. The room was serviced everyday. The beds were comfortable. Decent bedding. Secure. TVs in the room. The Cons. No air conditioning. Hot stuffy dark dreary rooms. Dark hallways. A basic breakfast that consisted of ham and...
