While the location is good and the common area is large, I had a bad experience with some dorm room guests one night. They were extremely loud, used my stuff and there was no help from the staff at the hostel when I expressed my concern. As they had no private rooms left I wanted to get a refund on...

This place understands what a hostel should be like. The commen area is huge, with multipal lounge corners, a television with a pretty good dvd collection, two kitchens and a nice garden. The staff speaks very good english and are very helpfull: when my boyfriend got a food poisening they gave us a dorm with private bathroom where no other...

I really liked this hostel. The building is beautiful with a lovely park and beautiful lounge. Staff very helpful. Nice and quiete area. An oasis of peace for everyone who wants to relax in Lima. The price is very good for the type of service. I highly recommend it.

I stayed in HQ villa due to recommendation of a friend that was there. The place is huge! It's one of the biggest places I've stayed. Not only that but the people working there are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely organized and very clean. The entire kitchen area and common areas are spacious and clean, and furniture...

I booked only a couple of nights when I first came to Lima to start a volunteer programm and ended up staying a couple of weeks! The friendly staff and especially the owners Misha and Mike make HQ Villa a place where you can feel at home, very rare for a hostel. Both the bedrooms and common areas are extremly...

I would HIGHLY recommend this Hostel to anyone staying in Lima! I stayed in the HQ Villa Hostel for almost 2 weeks during my year in South America. It was by far the cleanest and most wonderful place i stayed at the entire year. The bed sheets were changed daily, even if you were staying the night again, the bathrooms...

The house is immauclate and so large that you can find space to lie in the sun and read a book, aah tranquility. Where all the other hostels...

We booked the most expensive room. The bathroom shower didnt work and looked like an electric disaster. Everything was dirty and smelled of mildew. It took ages for the shower to b fixed. Rarely was there hot water or pressure. The kitchen was dirty. Breakfast terrible. It was expensive for what it was. There was zero atmosphere. Really the worst...

HQ had some of the coolest interior design I've seen in a hostel, and it was much more elegant than most hostels in Lima. Chandeliers in almost every room! For the price, it was certainly worth it. Combine the beautiful neighborhood with the huge kitchen, big buffet style breakfast, and peaceful garden, and you've got a bed and breakfast style...
